The Department Of Injustice’s Inspector General Is Complicit In The Deep-State Cover-Up!

In his long-anticipated, more than 500-page report[2], the Department of Justice’s Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz[3] ignored the “800-pound gorilla” in the room; namely, the greatest scandal in American history. He seems totally oblivious to—and has criminally whitewashed—the “deep-state cover-up,” or the combined efforts of Barack Obama and others to destroy the candidacy and the presidency of Donald Trump.[4]

In addition to Obama, the treasonous wrongdoers include but are not limited to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton; former Attorneys General Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch; Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and former Deputy AG Sally Yates; former FBI Directors Robert Mueller and James Comey; former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper; former CIA Director John Brennan; former National Security Advisor Susan Rice; former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe; and Senior Advisor to Obama, Valerie Jarrett.[5]

By taking a dive and burying the truth and treason, Horowitz has added more shame to American government and to the corrupt DOJ and FBI. He too should resign immediately in disgrace. For openers, not once does his report mention Rice or Jarrett. The traitor Mueller is mentioned on 4 pages, while his co-conspirators—Rosenstein, Clapper and Brennan—are mentioned on a scant one page each, with Rosenstein being cited only in an innocuous footnote.[6]

Horowitz has committed one or more crimes—including treason—by covering up the greatest scandal in American history. He has zero integrity or credibility. He is part of the corrupt DOJ/FBI “culture” that has existed for decades, which is not discernibly different than the former Soviet Union’s brutal KGB.[7] Like Hans Christian Andersen’s fable, “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” Horowitz’s own criminality has been exposed for all Americans and the world to see.[8]

To be sure, such a wholesale attack against our Constitution, presidency, democracy and republic is every bit as evil as a physical attack against our great nation by an enemy. Clearly, the DOJ Inspector General’s office is “where the truth goes to die.” And the response must be equally severe—to send a message far and wide that such conduct and complicity will not be tolerated ever again.

Why The OIG Report Should Scare The Hell Out Of You

David Catron has written in The American Spectator:

The Justice Department’s tepid OIG report, with its risible assertion that there was no political bias in the FBI’s Clinton email probe, suggests that it was written by people afraid to tell the unvarnished truth about the conduct of the federal government’s police apparatus, an agency that openly defies congressional oversight and has participated in a vendetta against a sitting president. The FBI’s leadership clearly hopes that the Democrats will win majorities in Congress and put a halt to the investigations into its multifarious abuses of power. The OIG is loath to face the ruthless reprisals that would inevitably follow such a disaster.

In other words, the Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General is filled with people who fear the FBI. Think about that for a minute. What is the usual term for a government whose members live in fear of its police arm? Ronald Reagan famously said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” The OIG report suggests that its demise may be only one election away. The following passage from the report’s Executive Summary is a cowardly exercise in bureaucratic dissembling deliberately worded to let corrupt FBI officials off the hook and provide talking points for its equally dishonest apologists:

[We] did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that improper considerations, including political bias, directly affected the specific investigative decisions we reviewed … we found that these specific decisions were the result of discretionary judgments made during the course of an investigation by the Midyear agents and prosecutors and that these judgment calls were not unreasonable.

It doesn’t matter that this pusillanimous drivel is refuted by the findings reported in the depths of the full 568-page report. It was immediately deployed by the usual suspects in the legacy “news” media, and even the agency’s current director, to whitewash the behavior of Comey, McCabe, Strzok, and the rest of the rogue bureaucrats posing as law enforcement officials. If the ill effects of this report are not obvious, consider the response of the FBI’s current director, the guy who was supposed to be a trade up from the solipsistic stuffed shirt fired by President Trump. Here is Christopher Wray’s rote recitation of the FBI party line:

I take this report very seriously, and we accept its findings and recommendations. It’s also important to note what the inspector general did not find. The report did not find any evidence of political bias or improper consideration actually impacting the investigation under review. But the report does identify errors of judgment, violations of or disregard for policy, and decisions that, at the very least, in hindsight, were not the best choices.

And, in the cause of halting further investigations into deep state skulduggery, the Democrats immediately used the OIG report to attack the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Devin Nunes. Nunes has spearheaded the House investigation into the interference of executive branch agencies in the 2016 election and their attempts to hobble the Trump administration. California Democrat Adam Schiff has been working the talking head circuit to weave ironic conspiracy theories about Nunes’ conduct. Schiff went on Meet the Press yesterday to speculate about data received by the committee from the FBI:

[I]t is deeply disturbing because if this was shared by New York field agents with Devin Nunes, was it also shared with Rudy Giuliani? Or did Devin Nunes do something which we have seen subsequently which is coordinate with the Trump team? Was this information shared by the committee with Rudy Giuliani or shared directly with them? We don’t know the answer but we hope the inspector general will find out.

Schiff is, of course, a pathological liar. This has been documented by a number of news outlets, including the Federalist, in this story by Mollie Hemingway. But the truth isn’t what matters to any of the Democrats as the midterms approach. They know there is more damning evidence on the way if they don’t stop the investigations of the chicanery that went on before and after Trump was elected. Schiff and his accomplices are up to their necks in it and the most urgent priority on the “to do” list of a newly elected Democratic majority in either House of Congress will be the abrupt termination of any related committee investigations.

This is not conjecture. Both the Democrats and their media toadies have been dropping none-too-subtle hints about it since they began fantasizing about a “blue wave.” Last week Elizabeth Warren expressed fear that the Democratic Party might not win either the House or Congress: “I run every day filled with terror that it won’t because Donald Trump remains in control of the House and the Senate.” When asked how the Democrats could accomplish anything with only partial control of the government she answered, “They can do it partly by stopping some of the bleed.” Thomas Friedman explains what that means in the New York Times:

It is up to the Democrats to… get hold of at least one lever of power — the House or the Senate—in order to oust the most corrupt Republican lawmakers who lead key committees… to protect the F.B.I., the Justice Department and Robert Mueller from Trump’s intimidation.

In other words, the Democrats want to win in November to protect corrupt executive branch departments from their boss. That would be Donald Trump, who won the presidency in a free and fair election. This is what should scare you about the OIG report. The Inspector General is not merely afraid of reprisals from the most powerful government police organ on the planet, his report hedges his bets because he isn’t sure that our democratically elected representatives are going to win the war they are fighting with the deep state. He knows that if the Democrats win in November, the deep state will devolve into a police state.

TAKING LIBERTIES

Little by little through Republican and Democratic Administrations over many decades ( a lifetime ) our Liberties have slowly been stolen from us. Incrementalism works and the press pays little attention ( short attention spans, especially in recent years). The public schools continue to dumb-down the electorate, as well.

A U.S. Supreme Court Decision here, another there. When the U.S. Government is able to take-off their referee striped T-shirt and put on a jersey and actually take sides in the game, like was attempted in 2016, then we have all lost our Republic and our basic Constitutional liberties. We can expect to suffer accordingly.

So, the majority of Americans today are really agnostic to all the recent shenanigans in Washington, D.C. The IG. Report is long delayed and really old news by now. A big Yawn !! Who really cares? Time better spent going to the beach. Besides, Hillary and Bill Clinton have been at it for 35 years, beginning in Little Rock, Ark. in 1979. So, its just not important enough anymore to get in a tizzy now, it can’t be fixed. The rot is in from the head down to the toe. Too Little, Too Late.

Only a complete ‘extraction’ or social and political/financial collapse can save our Republic. Be ready to make real changes at the precise moment the system caves-in on itself. Much at stake. Three Of The Five FBI Employees Dinged For Anti-Trump Bias In IG Report Ended Up Working On Mueller Probe

Three of the five FBI employees dinged for anti-Trump bias in the inspector general’s new report ended up on the special counsel’s investigation into Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, raising still more questions about the team Robert Mueller assembled.

Two of those — FBI lawyer Lisa Page and her paramour, Agent Peter Strzok — became known when their vehemently anti-Trump text messages came to light. But the inspector general’s report identifies a third person, labeled “FBI Attorney 2,” who also fired off messages denigrating Mr. Trump and saying “Viva le resistance.”

None of the three are still on the special counsel’s team. Ms. Page left weeks after the investigation opened, while Mr. Strzok departed after a couple of months, when his anti-Trump messages came to light. And Attorney 2, identified this week as Kevin Clinesmith by Rep. Mark Meadows, was ousted from the probe in February, after the inspector general found his messages.

Mr. Clinesmith also had sent coworkers political jokes about Mr. Trump, including one instant message after the election saying, “I am so stressed about what I could have done differently.”

According to the report, Mr. Clinesmith worked on the 2016 probe into Hillary Clinton’s email use, then worked on the FBI’s original investigation into the Trump campaign, and, eventually, with the special counsel’s investigation into Mr. Trump’s presidential campaign.

The inspector general described him as the “primary FBI attorney” assigned to the Russia probe when it started back in early 2017.

“If FBI Attorney 2 has the bias that he has, sure, it’s problematic,” Mr. Meadows, North Carolina Republican, told The Washington Times.

The special counsel’s office downplayed Mr. Clinesmith’s involvement Wednesday, portraying him more as a bit player not key for its roster of prosecutors and federal agents. They said he was never detailed to the special counsel, but rather remained an FBI agent who supported the investigation in an administrative capacity.

“The special counsel’s investigation is being conducted by prosecutors and agents; FBI Attorney 2 was neither,” said Joshua Stueve, a spokesperson for the special counsel.

The lawyer himself told the inspector general his anti-Trump comments were “personal feelings” about the election.

Mr. Mueller’s probe has faced questions over the political leanings of his team.

The special counsel office said last year that lawyers picked for Mr. Mueller’s team donated more than $60,000 to Democrats. Only one lawyer donated to Republicans, contributing the maximum amount of $2,750. In total, the probe’s prosecutors donated $19,000 to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 and 2016 political campaigns, according to Mr. Mueller’s office.

But some media outlets have claimed the numbers underestimate the amount of Democratic donations by as much as $12,000. The donation discrepancy only further raises the bias accusations lodged against Mr. Mueller’s team, which Mr. Trump has repeatedly highlighted.

Earlier this month Mr. Trump, on Twitter, referred to Mueller’s team as “13 Angry Democrats.” He said there had “never been a group of people on a case so biased or conflicted.”

The inspector general is looking into whether Mr. Strzok’s anti-Trump bias affected the FBI’s original Russia investigation. Inspector General Michael Horowitz said investigators have not been able to rule out the possibility that decisions to focus investigations on Mr. Trump rather than on Mrs. Clinton in October 2016 was a result of Mr. Strzok’s feelings.

All told, the inspector general found five different FBI employees who displayed a bias who were involved in the Clinton investigation. Only Ms. Page and Mr. Strzok were named in last week’s 500-page report, but Mr. Meadows identified Ms. Clinesmith and another lawyer, Sally Moyer, during a hearing Tuesday.

There is no indication Ms. Moyer had a role on the special counsel’s probe.

All five have been referred for an internal review, and FBI Director Christopher Wray has promised bias training for FBI employees to prevent a repeat.

But their early involvement could be a problem for Mr. Mueller. In a footnote to his report, Mr. Horowitz noted that an unrelated 2012 prosecution under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act was soured by “racy texts” exchanged by two FBI agents and an informant.

The Justice Department even uses that 2012 case in its employee training as an example of what not to say in text messages.

Ms. Page left the FBI in May, while Mr. Strzok and Mr. Clinesmith are still employed there.

Mr. Stzok had been reassigned to HR after being removed from Mr. Mueller’s team, but he was escorted out of the FBI building last week.

Solomon Wisenberg, a Washington attorney who served as independent counsel Kenneth Starr’s deputy during investigations into then-President Bill Clinton, said it is rare for people to be removed from a special counsel investigation.

“It is not unheard of to have a person quietly ushered out, but to have two people kicked off for the appearance of bias is very unusual,” he said.

Mr. Wisenberg said he recalled two people leaving on their own during the five years the Starr probe ran its course. But Mueller has forcibly removed two people, Mr. Clinesmith and Mr. Strzok, in less than a year.

“Turnover is unusual because these things are so exciting who would want to leave?” he said.

Mr. Wisenberg believes Mr. Mueller is an honorable person trying to conduct a fair investigation, but described some of his hiring as “tone deaf,” given the accusations of bias that have grown after some team members’ social media posts and political donations were disclosed.

“I think [Mueller] should have been more sensitive,” he said. “It’s obvious Mueller didn’t query his people enough, but that’s not grounds for stopping an investigation.

Lewis Schiliro, a former head of the FBI’s New York office, called the fact that two people were removed from Mueller’s team “a black eye” for the venerable bureau.

The fact that these agents made those comments via text and instant message is troubling, he said, because it creates a written record of their biases that could be used in court to undermine their credibility.

“An FBI agent’s job, first and foremost, is to testify in a court of law,” he said. “But as a defense attorney, the first thing I’m going to do is get their messages and social media posts and show how they are biased witnesses.”

Mr. Schiliro said he couldn’t imagine FBI agents being so cavalier about their political opinions during his time with the bureau.

“It’s just an unbelievable situation,” he said of the anti-Trump comments. “Why these people put those comments out there is beyond me.”

But Andrew Leipold, a law professor at the University of Illinois and also a former member of Mr. Starr’s team, said the removals of Mr. Strzok and Mr. Clinesmith dispel accusations of bias that have been lodged against the Mueller probe.

Mr. Trump has been one the most vocal in accusing Mr. Mueller of running a political inquisition, calling the investigation a “hoax” and “witch hunt.”

“If the investigation was really as biased as some have alleged, would Mueller be removing people who are biased?” Mr. Leipold said.

Ultimately, the the Mueller investigation will be judged by the facts and conclusions not by the bias allegations surrounding two people who left the investigation relatively earl in the process, Mr. Leipold said.

“Is it helpful to Mueller? No. But it doesn’t undermine his credibility because we need to see what the facts are and what people say under oath,” he said.

DOJ’s Rod Rosenstein Is A Traitor [UPDATED]

Twelve Russian military intelligence officers hacked into the Clinton presidential campaign and Democratic Party, releasing tens of thousands of stolen and politically damaging communications, in a sweeping conspiracy by the Kremlin to meddle in the 2016 U.S. election, according to a grand jury indictment announced days before President Donald Trump’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The indictment stands as special counsel Robert Mueller’s first allegation implicating the Russian government directly in criminal behavior meant to sway the presidential election.

U.S. intelligence agencies have said the meddling was aimed at helping the Trump campaign and harming the election bid of his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton. The effort also included bogus Facebook ads and social media postings that prosecutors say were aimed at influencing public opinion and sowing discord on hot-button social issues.

The indictment lays out a broad, coordinated effort starting in March 2016 to break into key Democratic email accounts, such as those belonging to the Democratic National Committee, the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Among those targeted was John Podesta, the Clinton campaign chairman.

The Kremlin denied anew that it tried to sway the election. “The Russian state has never interfered and has no intention of interfering in the U.S. elections,” Putin’s foreign affairs adviser, Yuri Ushakov, said Friday.

But the indictment identifies the defendants as officers with Russia’s Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff, also known as GRU. It accuses them of covertly monitoring the computers of dozens of Democratic officials and volunteers, implanting malicious computer code known as malware and using phishing emails to gain control of the accounts of people associated with the Clinton campaign.

By June 2016, the defendants began planning the release of tens of thousands of stolen emails and documents, the indictment alleges. The messages were released through fictitious personas like DCLeaks and Guccifer 2.0.

The charges come as Mueller continues to investigate potential coordination between Russia and the Trump campaign to influence the presidential election. The indictment does not allege that Trump campaign associates were involved in the hacking efforts or that any American was knowingly in contact with Russian intelligence officers.

The indictment also does not allege that any vote tallies were altered by hacking.

Still, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said the internet “allows foreign adversaries to attack Americans in new and unexpected ways. Free and fair elections are hard-fought and contentious and there will always be adversaries who work to exacerbate domestic differences and try to confuse, divide and conquer us.”

A White House statement offered no condemnation of the alleged Russian conspiracy. Instead it focused on the fact that no Trump campaign officials or Americans were implicated in the new indictment. Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said on Twitter that it was time to end the Mueller investigation since “no Americans are involved.”

But with Mueller still investigating, it’s not known whether further indictments are taking shape or will.

Before Friday, 20 people and three companies had been charged in the Mueller investigation. The 20 are four former Trump campaign and White House aides, three of whom have pleaded guilty to different crimes and agreed to cooperate, and 13 Russians accused of participating in a hidden but powerful social media campaign to sway U.S. public opinion in the 2016 election.

If the involvement of the GRU officers in the hacking effort is proved, it would shatter the Kremlin denials of the Russian state’s involvement in the U.S. elections.

The GRU, which answers to the Russian military’s General Staff, is part of the state machine and its involvement would indicate that the orders to interfere in the U.S. election came from the very top.

One attempt at interference noted in the indictment came hours after Trump, in a July 27, 2016, speech, suggested Russians look for emails that Clinton said she had deleted from her tenure as secretary of state.

“Russia, if you’re listening,” Trump said, “I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing.”

That evening, the indictment says, the Russians attempted to break into email accounts used by Clinton’s personal office, along with 76 Clinton campaign email addresses.

Hours before the Justice Department announcement, Trump complained anew that the special counsel’s investigation is complicating his efforts to forge a better working relationship with Russia. Trump and Putin are scheduled to hold talks Monday in Finland, a meeting largely sought by Trump.

After the indictments were announced, top Senate Democrat Chuck Schumer called on Trump to cancel his meeting with Putin until Russia takes steps to prove it won’t interfere in future elections. He said the indictments are “further proof of what everyone but the president seems to understand: President Putin is an adversary who interfered in our elections to help President Trump win.”

Trump complained about “stupidity” when asked about Mueller’s probe earlier Friday, at a news conference in Britain with Prime Minister Theresa May.

“We do have a — a political problem where — you know in the United States we have this stupidity going on,” he said. “Pure stupidity. But it makes it very hard to do something with Russia. Anything you do, it’s always going to be, ‘Oh, Russia, he loves Russia.'”

“I love the United States,” Trump continued. “But I love getting along with Russia and China and other countries.”

Peter Strzok’s Arrogance Is The Product Of A Corrupt FBI

Michael Goodwin has written in the New York Post:

Watching FBI agent Peter Strzok battle with Congress, my initial reaction was pure anger. His repeated, arrogant insistence that he had done nothing wrong despite tons of evidence to the contrary convinced me he deserved immediate firing — if not the firing squad.

Gradually, though, anger gave way to amazement as Strzok grew increasingly combative and condescending. Given his predicament, the sneering and smirking were stupid, and yet he persisted.

Who is this jerk, I wondered, and how in the hell did he get to be a big shot at the FBI? And why are taxpayers still paying for the privilege of his malignant presence on the FBI payroll?

My answers can be summarized in four names: James Comey, Jeff Sessions, Rod Rosenstein and Christopher Wray. They are chief culprits in the death of public trust in the Department of Justice.

The cause of death was murder, and it was an inside job.

Strzok, whose voluminous texts with his office lover show him to be a king of partisan bias, rose to leadership positions under former FBI director Comey — and it shows. Comey’s self-righteousness was his ultimate undoing, but not before he led the agency into a double death grip of corruption and rank partisanship.

Blinded by his own ambition, Comey brushed aside superiors, rules and maybe laws while giving Hillary Clinton a free pass and turning the screws on Donald Trump. Comey defends himself by saying he sought to protect the FBI’s independence, as if it — and he — are a fourth branch of government that is beyond accountability from the other three.

In the end, he disgraced the agency and himself, though gained consolation in the millions he made by selling his book to Trump haters.

But the FBI didn’t stink only from the head — Comey’s deputy, Andrew McCabe, also was fired, and could be prosecuted for allegedly being dishonest with investigators about a media leak.

Strzok appears to be a chip off the Comey/McCabe block. Like them, he insists he is committed to the FBI’s high standards, but his reprehensible conduct makes a mockery of his claims.

His stated contempt for Trump and his promise to stop him from becoming president render Strzok unfit to be a dogcatcher.

But, aping his mentors, he nonetheless demands his denials of wrongdoing be accepted as if his integrity is self-evident. All three believe they are entitled to trust and respect, without having to earn or return either.

Which brings us to Sessions, Rosenstein and Wray. How can they stomach the likes of Strzok and refuse to clean the stables?

Sessions, as attorney general, is nominally the boss over his deputy, Rosenstein, and FBI director Wray. But by recusing himself from anything related to the 2016 campaign, Sessions abdicated the most important part of his job.

As I have said, his appointment was Trump’s biggest mistake, one that denied the president and the nation a functioning attorney general. The most critical result is the unchecked and apparently endless investigation of special counsel Robert Mueller.

Speaking of which, breathes there a soul who believes the timing of Mueller’s latest batch of ghost indictments of Russians has nothing to do with Trump’s planned meeting with Vladimir Putin? The timing shows Rosenstein, who announced the charges, and Mueller are neck deep in politics by trying to force Trump to confront Putin about the meddling charges.

Is that their job? Would they embarrass and try to box in Barack Obama or any other president?

Their decision persuades me both harbor suspicion of Trump’s legitimacy, and thus feel entitled to abuse their powers to wade into issues that are none of their business. In that way, they are no better than Comey, McCabe and Strzok — applying a double standard of law enforcement based on their personal views. That makes them, at the least, allies of the resistance.

Rosenstein’s stonewalling conduct toward Congress over Russia-probe documents is especially suspicious. Claims he threatened members and their staffs ring true, and, if they are, it means he lied under oath when he denied making any threats.

But, thanks to the somnolent Sessions, we can add Rosenstein to the long list of those above accountability. A real attorney general — oh, what’s the use? Sessions is not a real attorney general and never will be.

Then there is Comey’s successor, Christopher Wray. He looks as if he wandered into the wrong movie theater and can’t find the exit.

He defined himself as unwilling to tackle the mess he inherited by downplaying the devastating Inspector General report on the handling of the Clinton investigation. While conceding the findings made it “clear we’ve got some work to do,” he minimized them by saying, “It’s focused on a specific set of events back in 2016, and a small number of FBI employees connected with those events. Nothing in the report impugns the integrity of our workforce as a whole, or the FBI as an institution.”

Baloney. While it’s true only a fraction of the total employees were singled out, they were the director of the FBI, his top deputy, the deputy’s top lawyer and Strzok, the head of counterintelligence.

Others were also faulted, but not named, including an agent who tried to get his son a job on Clinton’s campaign while sending campaign boss John Podesta “heads up” e-mails.

And so the corruption of the Justice Department proceeds, unmolested by actual justice. The voter revolution of 2016 has more work to do.

The DOJ’s Inspector General Michael Horowitz Is Missing In Action

As stated in my article above and in the comments beneath it, there are ample reasons to believe that the Department of Injustice’s Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz has ignored the “800-pound gorilla” in the room—namely, the greatest scandal in American history—and that he has criminally whitewashed the “deep-state cover-up,” or the combined efforts of Barack Obama and others to destroy the candidacy and the presidency of Donald Trump.

Also, it has been said and it bears repeating: the Inspector General’s office is “where the truth goes to die.”

Because of this, he should resign immediately in disgrace; he is part of the corrupt DOJ/FBI “culture” that has existed for decades; and like Hans Christian Andersen’s fable, “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” Horowitz’s own criminality has been exposed for all Americans and the world to see.

The response must be equally severe—to send a message far and wide that such conduct and complicity will not be tolerated ever again.

Rudy Giuliani wants special counsel Robert Mueller investigated for destruction of FBI evidence.

His comments came during two interviews with Hill.TV.

Specifically, Giuliani, a lawyer for President Donald Trump, accused Mueller’s office of allowing text messages to be erased from now-fired FBI official Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page, The Hill reported.

Strzok and Page helped start the Russia probe in 2016.

“Mueller should be investigated for destruction of evidence for allowing those text messages from Strzok to be erased, messages that would show the state of mind and tactics of his lead anti-Trump FBI agent at the start of his probe,” Giuliani said.

Strzok and Page had exchanged thousands of text messages during 2016 and 2017. Some of them discussed their distaste for Trump, which has led the GOP to accuse them of being part of an FBI conspiracy to take down Trump.

“That should be investigated, damn it, that should be investigated fully,” Giuliani said. “You want a special counsel, get one for that.”.

But asked by Hill.TV is Mueller should be the last special counsel appointed by the Justice Department, Giuliani said: “I never like to say never but I must say I have great pause after seeing the abuses in this investigation.”

Sadly, the FBI Leadership has proved to be very corrupt. This has permanently tarnished their reputation and reduced their effectiveness worldwide. How can the FBI be effective in the future when nobody really respects them anymore? Furthermore, it reduces the general public’s confidence in their (Federal) Government. This is, by-the-way, a long term trend.

Right now, here in Glendale, Calif., The FBI is investigating a ring of Armenian physicians and pharmacists who have been defrauding Medicare, Medicaid, and Health-net of millions of dollars. Its felony fraud. It will take at least two years to bring this (complex) case before a Federal Grand Jury and get an indictment, thereby authorizing multiple arrests.

How much do you want to bet at least some of these offenders or suspects will be “in the wind” before the FBI comes a knock’in, with their arrest warrants? Why would they remain in the U.S.A. since they face prison time, a loss of their professional licenses, and destruction?

Most Armenians will just go back to their homeland in Armenia and laugh all the way to the bank. Their assets are probably already on the way back home if they are smart. Many are. By the time the FBI catches-up with them, nobody will be home. Chasing a ghost? A bunch of worthless (Federal) bureaucrats.

Yes, the FBI is corrupt, and has been for years, stretching back to the abuses by J. Edgar Hoover.

No American should trust the agency anymore. And a thorough house-cleaning is necessary, from top to bottom.

As I have stated many times, Robert Mueller must made an example, and receive the harshest punishment available under U.S. law.

Unless and until this happens, justice will not be served.

Who is going to do it? I doubt President Trump has the cojones to get Mueller. “The Swamp” extends from Sea to Shining Sea (Coast to Coast ). He can’t do it singlehandedly. 1/2 of all Americans do not like or support President Trump, especially here in California. Therefore, President Trump has no real “mandate”. This weakens his options. So, traditional Justice is dead for all practical purposes. Mueller and others walk. No accountability.

The FBI and DOJ constitute a “private club,” as does Washington, D.C.; and the “insiders” protect each other.

President Trump is the outsider who has upset their decades-old corruption, which is rampant. The Democrats’ ranks are full of them; and Paul Ryan is the “poster child” of the GOP’s corruption.

The Rasmussen poll that I cited may be telling. I believe there is inherent wisdom in the American people. Yes, they can be fooled some of the time (as Barack Obama did), but not all of the time.

A LONG TIME COMING

Such a “Day of Reckoning” is long overdue for America in general. You see, the salt is scattered amongst the general population so you have to ferret it out, one by one. President Trump is far too distracted with many relatively trivial pursuits such as daily Tweets, staff meetings, trade negotiations, the ongoing “Wall” saga, and other sundry tasks. He is spread-out too thin and keeps appointing insiders who will just stonewall and tell him what He wants to hear.

The American people are largely out of the loop and don’t really see the facades. Let me give some specific examples: Medicare Reforms and Estate Tax Exemptions.

President Obama raised the Federal Estate Tax Exemption from $ 1.0 Million per spouse to $2.5 Million per spouse in December 2012. I directly benefited from this change in tax law. Seems unimportant and is ignored by the media ( who owns the media ?). President Trump moved the exemption up some more, beginning in 2018.

It was very high on his priority list. President Trump raised the Estate Tax Exemption from $2.5 Million per spouse to $5 Million per spouse. Now, the IRS reports only about 2,000 tax returns are even subject to any estate tax at all. Its only the ultra high net worth families who benefited.

Now, lets get to Medicare Reforms. President George W. Bush signed a law in 2017 which is effective on Jan. 1, 2020. Medigap policies ( options F and G ) go away and leave fewer choices for new enrollees. Luckily, I become Medicare eligible this coming Dec. under the old regime. Fewer Medigap Insurance options means higher prices.

Furthermore, the Federal Government wants to force all Medicare recipients to enroll in HMO’s eventually. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services currently pays Health Insurance salesmen a $500 commission for each new HMO subscriber enrolled in Medigap insurance. The policy is clear and so it the direction. Yet we are engrossed in issues such as “The Wall” and other political trivia. Politics has become a cheap Reality Show. I find it all disgusting.

Regrettably, there is no one in the GOP ranks—much less among the pathetic and un-American Dems, and yes I began as a Dem—who has the vision, courage and fortitude that he has.

In an earlier article, I compared him with Lincoln, in terms of changing America and having the courage to do so. Trump may go down in U.S. history as such a president.

Only time will tell.

More Evidence That The Department Of Injustice’s Inspector General Is Knee-Deep In The Deep-State Cover-Up! [UPDATED]

Whoever coined the expression that “the DOJ Inspector General’s office is ‘where the truth goes to die,’” was brilliant and spot on.

The U.S. attorney who is conducting a wide-ranging investigation of the origins of the Trump-Russia probe released a rare statement Monday saying he disagrees with conclusions of the so-called FISA report — after DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz found in that review that the probe’s launch largely complied with DOJ and FBI policies.

“Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened,” U.S. Attorney John Durham said in a statement.

Horowitz released his report Monday saying his investigators found no intentional misconduct or political bias surrounding efforts to launch that 2016 probe and to seek a highly controversial Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to monitor former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in the early months of the investigation. Still, it found that there were “significant concerns with how certain aspects of the investigation were conducted and supervised.”

“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff,” Durham said. “However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S.”

As Horowitz has conducted his review of DOJ actions during the Russia probe, Durham, the U.S. attorney for Connecticut, has also been conducting a wider inquiry into alleged misconduct and alleged improper government surveillance on the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election.

Fox News reported in October that Durham’s ongoing probe has transitioned into a full-fledged criminal investigation.

Meanwhile, Attorney General William Barr ripped the FBI’s “intrusive” investigation after the release of Horowitz’s review, saying it was launched based on the “thinnest of suspicions.”

“The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken,” Barr said in a statement.

Barr expressed frustration that the FBI continued investigating the Trump campaign, even as “exculpatory” information came to the light.

“It is also clear that, from its inception, the evidence produced by the investigation was consistently exculpatory,” Barr said. “Nevertheless, the investigation and surveillance was pushed forward for the duration of the campaign and deep into President Trump’s administration.”

Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller acknowledged in his report that investigators did not find evidence of a conspiracy between Trump’s campaign and the Russians in 2016 – which the FBI probed extensively.

Barr said the FISA report shows a “clear abuse” of the surveillance process.

“In the rush to obtain and maintain FISA surveillance of Trump campaign associates, FBI officials misled the FISA court, omitted critical exculpatory facts from their filings, and suppressed or ignored information negating the reliability of their principal source,” Barr said.

He added, “The Inspector General found the explanations given for these actions unsatisfactory. While most of the misconduct identified by the Inspector General was committed in 2016 and 2017 by a small group of now-former FBI officials, the malfeasance and misfeasance detailed in the Inspector General’s report reflects a clear abuse of the FISA process.”

Monday’s FISA report dealing with the investigation into Trump’s campaign has long been expected. Horowitz in September submitted a draft of the report to Barr and the FBI so they could identify any classified information. But it had not been publicly released until now.

The release comes as Washington has been consumed with an impeachment inquiry into President Trump. The House Judiciary Committee is holding the inquiry’s latest hearing Monday, days after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Democrats are moving forward with plans to bring articles of impeachment against the president over his dealings with Ukraine.

The Justice Department inspector general’s report into the Russia collusion investigation lays out incontrovertible evidence that the FBI misled the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court through false information and omissions, according to sources familiar with its findings.

The evidence that the judges were misled is so sweeping that it could provide grounds, if Attorney General William Barr chooses, to withdraw the FBI’s application for the surveillance warrants that began in October 2016 to target ex-Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, the sources added.

Such a move, while mostly legally symbolic since the probe is long since closed, would still amount to a resounding rebuke to an FBI probe that the bureau, Democrats and their media allies relentlessly defended.

A spokeswoman for the Justice Department did not respond to a request for comment on Monday morning.

“The evidence of false statements, false information, deception through omission is going to raise an important debate about FISA,” one source told me.

The report is expected to conclude the FBI’s decision to open a counterintelligence probe of the Trump campaign’s possible ties to Russia in 2016 was adequately predicated but that its subsequent reliance on the so-called Steele dossier and execution of FISA warrants to assist the probe were problematic.

That reliance became even more troubling in early 2017 when the FBI conducted an interview with one of Christopher Steele’s sources that raised further concerns about the reliability of a dossier that was funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

One question, the sources said, is whether FBI officials with access to the facts failed to adequately divulge issues in the case to those officials who signed the warrant, which was approved Oct 21, 2016 and renewed three times in 2017.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz is slated to release the report midday Monday after briefing certain congressional oversight committees.

As I reported last week, some key revelations to watch:

· Did the FBI withhold exculpatory evidence (proof of innocence) against such investigative targets as Page and fellow Trump campaign staffer George Papadopoulos?

· Did the FBI withhold derogatory information about the reliability and political motives of the former British spy Christopher Steele?

· Did the FBI fail to verify evidence in the Steele dossier before using it as evidence?

· Will there be a criminal referral of an FBI employee suspected of falsifying evidence in the FISA matter?

The Department Of Injustice’s Inspector General Is Where The Truth Goes To Die

As I have said above and elsewhere at this blog, the DOJ, its FBI and its IG have as much credibility today as the former Soviet Union’s KGB, and rightly so.

WND has reported:

The Republican chairmen of two key committees have charged in a letter to Attorney General William Barr that Michael Horowitz’s inspector general report on FISA abuse by the Obama administration misled the public.

Sens. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Ron Johnson, R-Wis., want Barr to declassify four footnotes that contradict information in Horowitz’s December report.

“Specifically, we are concerned that certain sections of the public version of the report are misleading because they are contradicted by relevant and probative classified information redacted in four footnotes,” the senators state.

The senators did not specify what section of the report contradicts the footnotes.

“This classified information is significant not only because it contradicts key statements in a section of the report, but also because it provides insight essential for an accurate evaluation of the entire investigation,” they wrote. “The American people have a right to know what is contained within these four footnotes and, without that knowledge, they will not have a full picture as to what happened during the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.”

The Federalist commented that the unprecedented letter “raises questions about whether the FBI or other U.S. intelligence or agencies deliberately classified certain evidence that could potentially show that the Comey-led investigation against the Trump campaign was based on false premises known to the FBI and was therefore legally invalid and not properly predicated.”

Horowitz concluded the Obama administration was guilty of 17 “significant errors or omissions” in its use of a bogus anti-Trump “dossier” funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign to obtain warrants to spy on the Trump campaign.

But despite evidence in his report, he said he found no reason to believe the administration’s actions were rooted in political bias.

Grassley and Johnson insinuate the contents of the four classified footnotes would provide further fuel to refute Horowitz’s conclusion of no bias.

“The American people have a right to know what is contained within these four footnotes and, without that knowledge, they will not have a full picture as to what happened during the Crossfire Hurricane investigation,” the senators wrote.

Americans Do Not Believe In The DOJ Or FBI

Both agencies have been corrupt since the days of the FBI’s first Director — and cross-dresser — J. Edgar Hoover.

Otherwise, no American should believe that justice exists in our great country.

WHY THE ESTABLISHMENT’S SYSTEM ALWAYS WINS

No establishment investigation into the many actions of the “Deep State” or any of its key players ever really goes anywhere. Ditto with the Durham Investigation and report, as well. They just spin and rotate for a long while, dissipate, and then are eventually forgotten, as is the election of 2020.

Make no mistake about it: The American people have no meaningful political/policy influence, no power, and under our corrupt Republic, no voice either. The government, whenever confronted with its best interests vs. the interests of the people will ALWAYS throw the public under the bus, every single time.

For example, if the day comes when the choice is either to protect the government bond markets ( debt funding) or protect the currency (dollar), it will likely be the Govt. Bond markets that get protected. The people will have to live with either financial repression +/or high inflation and a reduced standard of living.

Covid was more about protecting government & politicians. The people lost their constitutional freedoms, businesses or income in many cases over Covid. Some lost their lives, either from Covid directly or indirectly due to adverse reactions to the mandated Covid Vaccines & booster injections. Moreover, none of these major losses to the people have yet been recovered or regained, nor will they ever be. Under the bus.

Thank you, Craig, for your thoughtful and poignant comments as always.

While my idealism runs counter to what you have said, my sense of realism agrees with it. Little or nothing meaningful is being done, which is tragic for the American people.

Perhaps the most significant recent example is the budget. Like others in the past, it became a “Christmas Tree” package; namely, every capable lobbyist got something.

When I worked in the U.S. Senate, I experienced it firsthand, and was shocked. But my naivete quickly wore off. This year, the GOP could have stalled the legislation until the new Congress was installed, but they didn’t — because this is not the way Washington works.

One of my first duties as a young attorney with the U.S. Senate Banking Committee was to staff a joint Senate-House Conference Committee. I witnessed things included in the legislation — as favors to Conference Committee members — which no one knew about or understood.

It was truly bizarre.

If Kevin McCarthy becomes the Speaker, there may be little or no hope. He and Mitch McConnell are the worst of the GOP — with the exception of Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney, of course.
