The Mueller Witch Hunt Is Over

Attorney General William P. Barr has issued the following letter:

Barr letter-page 1-19-3-24

Barr letter-page 2-19-3-24

Barr letter-page 3-19-3-24

Barr letter-page 4-19-3-24

The Mueller witch hunt has been a travesty from the very beginning.  All persons involved with this costly and traitorous undertaking—including the concerted efforts to destroy the candidacy and presidency of Donald Trump—must be subjected to the maximum punishments authorized by American law, so this never happens again in U.S. history.[2]

Nothing less will suffice.

Indeed, until this happens, no American should believe in our legal system—or that justice exists in the United States—ever again.[3]

Robert Mueller And His Fellow Co-Conspirators Must Be Targeted

Ban Robert Mueller

As Attorney General William P. Barr’s letter of March 24, 2019 states clearly and unequivocally:

The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 US. presidential election.

. . .

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and I have concluded that the evidence developed during the Special Counsel’s investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.

. . .

[T]he report identifies no actions that, in our judgment, constitute obstructive conduct, had a nexus to a pending or contemplated proceeding, and were done with corrupt intent, each of which, under the Department’s principles of federal prosecution guiding charging decisions, would need to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt to establish an obstruction-of-justice offense.

Clearly, there are a vast number of traitorous individuals who must be targeted for their many crimes, not the least of which is treason. Earlier articles and the comments beneath them have named these individuals and described their actions in detail.

See, e.g., https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2018/06/15/the-department-of-injustices-inspector-general-is-complicit-in-the-deep-state-cover-up/ (“The Department Of Injustice’s Inspector General Is Complicit In The Deep-State Cover-Up!”) and https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2018/05/24/should-barack-obama-be-executed-for-treason/ (“Should Barack Obama Be Executed For Treason?”) and https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2018/05/06/what-atrocities-did-robert-mueller-commit-in-vietnam/ (“What Atrocities Did Robert Mueller Commit In Vietnam?”) and https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2018/03/11/robert-mueller-should-be-executed-for-treason/ (“Robert Mueller Should Be Executed For Treason”) and https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2017/10/20/the-real-russian-conspiracy-barack-obama-the-clintons-and-the-sale-of-americas-uranium-to-russias-killer-putin/ (“The Real Russian Conspiracy: Barack Obama, The Clintons, And The Sale Of America’s Uranium To Russia’s Killer Putin”)

As stated in my article above, it warrants repeating:

The Mueller witch hunt has been a travesty from the very beginning. All persons involved with this costly and traitorous undertaking—including the concerted efforts to destroy the candidacy and presidency of Donald Trump—must be subjected to the maximum punishments authorized by American law, so this never happens again in U.S. history.

Thank you, Larry, for your comments.

Yes, it is a tribute to the visions and intellectual brilliance of those who founded our great nation.

In my lifetime, (1) Pearl Harbor was attacked; (2) World War II occurred and ended; (3) Europe and the world were saved; (4) the Korean War ended, and its division has yet to be “healed”; (5) Vietnam was ravaged, with millions of senseless deaths, and now it is our “ally”; (6) Afghanistan, Iraq and other nations became our war zones, with the costs in the trillions and the loss of lives staggering; (7) communism rose and fell, with the Soviet Union ceasing to exist; and (8) Watergate and the Mueller witch hunt occurred, dividing this nation and its peoples, and testing the strength of its fabric.

Yes, there are vast challenges ahead of us, but it seems that our great nation and its magnificent people will persevere, through thick and thin. Perhaps former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s words are as good as any:

[America is] the most powerful force for freedom that the world has known.

Big Thing: Trump Claims Vindication, Eyes Vengeance [UPDATED]

President Trump

This is what Axios has reported:

Donald J. Trump has twice gone to war with Democrats and most of the American media — and won both times, dramatically and consequentially.

Now, it’s time for victory dances — and vengeance.

The one-two gut punch to his critics — first, beating Hillary Clinton, and now, vindication from Robert Mueller — won’t just define his first term in office.

It’ll shape and sharpen his argument for re-election — and his war against the anti-Trump media.

Within an hour of learning the findings,” the WashPost reports, “Trump called for an investigation of his critics and cast himself as a victim.”

• “Aides say Trump plans to … call for organizations to fire members of the media and former government officials who he believes made false accusations about him.”

Attorney General William Barr writes in his summary for Congress that Mueller “did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government.”

The summary leaves many open questions that could be answered by a full airing of the report, which will be Dems’ main focus this week at least.

On obstruction of justice, Mueller wrote that while his report “does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”

Why it matters: The outcome is a huge political victory, and Trump will use it to bludgeon the media and Democrats for the next 18 months.

Much of the country will probably agree with him.

The president will use it to cast doubt on investigations by House Democrats, or by other state and federal officials.

Now, the vengeance: Trump allies are already pushing to investigate the investigators and attack the media.

Don Jr., the president’s eldest son, tweeted: “How this farce started and snowballed … into one the greatest hoaxes ever perpetrated on [] America should be discovered. Those responsible should be held accountable.”

Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, said: “The public deserves to see the interviews, documents, and intelligence that ‘justified’ this investigation in the first place.”

And Rudy Giuliani said on Fox News: “[T]here has to be a full and complete investigation, with at least as much enthusiasm as this one, to figure out where did this charge emanate, who started it, and who paid for it.”

Axios added:

NewsWhip, a social-media analytics company, whipped up this astonishing data for Axios’ Neal Rothschild:

Since May 2017, 533,074 web articles have been published about Russia and Trump/Mueller.

Those generated 245 million interactions (likes, comments and shares) on Twitter and Facebook.

Be smart: Now, think of how much cable time the coverage consumed.

As stated in my article above, it warrants repeating again and again:

The Mueller witch hunt has been a travesty from the very beginning. All persons involved with this costly and traitorous undertaking—including the concerted efforts to destroy the candidacy and presidency of Donald Trump—must be subjected to the maximum punishments authorized by American law, so this never happens again in U.S. history.

Attempts to drive a president from office on the basis of allegations of betrayal of the country that they knew to be false is as close as the United States has ever been to an attempted coup d’état. John Brennan Is Pure Evil And The Ultimate Traitor, Who Must Pay With His Life [UPDATED]

John Brennan traitor

As I have written previously:

The crime of treason against the United States is punishable by imprisonment or death. Article III, Section 3 of our Constitution defines treason and its punishment:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.

The United States Code states at 18 U.S.C. § 2381:

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

See https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2018/03/11/robert-mueller-should-be-executed-for-treason/ (“Robert Mueller Should Be Executed For Treason“) (emphasis added; footnotes omitted)

Douglas Ernst has written for The Washington Times:

Former CIA chief John O. Brennan now says his months of attacks on President Trump may have been based on “bad information.”

One of the president’s harshest critics had a muted tone on Monday as he discussed special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia report on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” No evidence was found to support the claim that Mr. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign “conspired or coordinated” with Russia.

“Well, I don’t know if I received bad information but I think I suspected there was more than there actually was,” Mr. Brennan told host Joe Scarborough. “I am relieved that it’s been determined there was not a criminal conspiracy with the Russian government over our election.”

Mr. Brennan said in December 2018, for instance, that Mr. Trump should prepare for the “forthcoming exposure of your malfeasance & corruption.”

“We need an actual leader — our Nation’s future is at stake,” he tweeted Dec. 31.

The former CIA head said he still maintained that some conversations between Mr. Trump’s campaign and Russians were “inappropriate.”

“I’m not all that surprised that the high bar of criminal conspiracy was not met,” he said.

Mr. Trump said Sunday that it was “a shame that our country has had to go through this. To be honest, it’s a shame that your president has had to go through this.”

“It began illegally, and hopefully, somebody is going to look at the other side. This was an illegal take-down that failed, and hopefully, somebody is going to be looking at the other side,” he told reporters. “So it is complete exoneration. No collusion, no obstruction.”

See https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/mar/25/john-brennan-ex-cia-chief-offers-mea-culpa-on-trum/ (“Ex-CIA chief offers mea culpa on Trump: ‘I don’t know if I received bad information'”) (emphasis added); see also https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2018/03/11/robert-mueller-should-be-executed-for-treason/#comment-12657 (“ANOTHER TRAITOR JOHN BRENNAN SQUEALS”—”It is no coincidence that John Brennan, who supported the Soviet-controlled American Communist Party in the 1970s (he has acknowledged that he thought his vote for its presidential candidate Gus Hall threatened his prospects at the CIA; unfortunately, it didn’t), would borrow from Trotsky’s rhetoric in his fulminations against Donald Trump. His tweet last week, shortly after the firing of Andrew McCabe, reeked of Trotskyite revolutionary schlock: ‘When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America . . . . America will triumph over you.’ America will triumph over a president it elected? That’s the raw language of coup, and of course it is not the first time Brennan has indulged it. In 2017, he was calling for members of the executive branch to defy the chief executive. They should ‘refuse to carry out’ his lawful directives if they don’t agree with them, he said. . . . Who needs Gus Hall when John Brennan is around? This time the Russians don’t even have to pay for the anti-American activity. . . . James Kallstrom, the former FBI Assistant Director, notes that the ‘animus and malice’ contained in Brennan’s tweet is ‘prima facie exposure of how he felt about Trump before the election.’ . . . As even an old Gus Hall supporter like John Brennan must know, and perhaps his fulminating panic indicates a dawning awareness of it, those who talk the loudest about their enemies heading for the ash heap of history often end up in it”)

Again, John Brennan is pure evil, and the ultimate traitor. There is no question that he gave “aid and comfort” to our enemies.

He must pay with his life. Nothing less will suffice.

Russiagate: a Bright, Shining Lie [UPDATED]

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton
[Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton]

This is the title of an article by Pat Buchanan—an adviser to Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Gerald Ford, and a former GOP presidential aspirant himself—who has written:

“The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia … to influence the 2016 US presidential campaign.”

So stated Attorney General William Barr in his Sunday letter to Congress summarizing the principal findings of the Mueller report.

On the charge of collusion with Russia, not guilty on all counts.

After two years of hearing from haters in politics and the media that President Donald Trump was “Putin’s poodle,” an agent of the Kremlin, guilty of treason, an illegitimate president who would leave the White House in handcuffs and end his days in prison, we learn the truth.

It was all a bright, shining lie.

Reeling from Trump’s exoneration, big media are now scurrying to their fallback position: Mueller did not exonerate Trump of obstruction of justice.

But Mueller was not obstructed. No one impeded his labors.

As for Trump’s rages against his investigation, they were the natural reaction of an innocent man falsely accused and facing disgrace and ruin for a crime he did not commit, indeed, a crime that had never been committed.

The House Judiciary Committee may try to replicate what Mueller did, and re-investigate obstruction. Fine. This would confirm what this whole rotten business has at root always been about: a scheme by the deep state and allied media to bring down another president.

The Mueller investigation employed 19 lawyers and 40 FBI agents. It took two years. It issued 2,800 subpoenas. It executed 500 search warrants. It interviewed 500 witnesses. And it failed to indict a single member of Trump’s campaign for collusion with Russia to influence the 2016 election.

Which raises this question:

If Mueller could find no collusion, after an exhaustive two-year search, what was the compelling evidence that caused James Comey’s FBI and Barack Obama’s Department of Justice to believe that such collusion had occurred and to launch this investigation?

Sunday, after Barr’s summary of the Mueller report became public, Trump aired his justified anger: “It’s a shame that our country had to go through this. To be honest, it’s a shame that your president has had to go through this. … This was an illegal takedown that failed.”

Is there not truth in this?

Millions of Americans still believe what is now a manifest falsehood — that their president collaborated with Putin in cheating Hillary Clinton out of the presidency. The legal bills of Trump, his family, his campaign aides and his White House staff must be huge. Careers, reputations have been damaged.

The nation has been distracted and bitterly divided over this since Trump’s first days in office. He has had a cloud over his presidency since he gave his inaugural address. Any ability the president had to fulfill his campaign pledge and negotiate with the largest country on earth, Russia, a superpower rival, has had to be put off.

Is it unfair to ask: Who did this to us?

Who led the Justice Department into believing Trump conspired with the Russians? Why did it take two years to discover there was no collusion? Who gave Putin and the GRU [“The Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation”] this victory by helping to tear our own country apart?

Our establishment is forever demanding apologies. Where are the apologies for the outrageous accusations that Trump was guilty of something next to treason?

Sen. Joe McCarthy did not do a fraction of the damage to the reputations of Dean Acheson or George Marshall that the elite media have done, unjustly and maliciously, to the reputation of Donald Trump.

Years after French Artillery Capt. Alfred Dreyfus was convicted of colluding with the Germans in the late 19th century, and was sent to Devil’s Island, evidence against another officer emerged.

Soon, it was Dreyfus’ accusers who were in the dock of public opinion.

That needs to happen now. The instigators of this investigation, launched to bring down a president, have damaged and divided this nation, and they need to be exposed, as do their collaborators in the press.

The roots of Mueller’s investigation go back to the Clinton campaign’s hiring of the opposition research firm Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on Trump. Fusion GPS hired ex-British spy Christopher Steele. He had sources in Russian intelligence who provided him with the contents of his infamous dossier. This was delivered to a grateful cabal at the FBI, which used it as the basis of a FISA court warrant to surveil the Trump campaign.

The dirt in the Steele dossier, much of it false, would be secretly shared with Trump-haters in the media to torpedo his candidacy; then, when Trump won, to destroy his presidency before it began.

Now that Trump has been exonerated, the story of how his accusers, using the power of the state, almost murdered a presidency with lies, propaganda and innuendo, needs to be brought out into the sunlight.

For democracy dies in darkness, and this can’t happen again.

White House Warns of Nation-Ending EMP Attacks On USA [UPDATED]

EMP Attack on USA

In the spring of 2008, reflecting back over my career as a “Washington lawyer”—first, with the Defense Intelligence Agency at the Pentagon, then in the U.S. Senate, and finally in private practice where I did lots of “heady things”—the only activity that I had missed and wanted to do was work in the White House.

See https://naegeleblog.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/timothy-d-naegele-resume.pdf

I had been in meetings there, but the very pinnacle of serving our country—in my opinion—was working in the White House. On a fluke, I contacted those who were running Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and offered to help. They had won before on his behalf, when he ran for the Senate. On July 25, 2008, I received a nice e-mail message from one of the three partners who ran the Chicago firm that was running things for Obama. Two of the partners went on to become Obama’s principal advisers in the White House.

He was very nice, and said that a fourth person—who went on to become an Assistant Secretary in one of the cabinet-level agencies—would “be reaching out to [me] within the next week or two to add [me] to Barack’s housing advisory group.” I was pleased, but this is not what I wanted to do.

I had written some of the nation’s most important housing legislation, which had helped millions of Americans, but I wanted to work on something new. I was “burnt out” with respect to housing, and suggested six areas in which I wanted to work: (1) “Predatory lending” by banks and other financial institutions; (2) “Housing,” yes I succumbed and added it to the list; (3) “Human trafficking,” which singles out women and children for lives of prostitution and slavery; (4) “Economic collapse,” which was more than a possibility in 2008, as the “Great Recession” unfolded; (5) “EMP attack,” which might end our great nation; and (6) “Prosecutorial misconduct,” which was rampant in America and still is.

While I wanted to work in the White House, not on some “housing advisory group” and I said so, it fell on deaf ears. Moreover, what seems in retrospect to have truly fallen on deaf ears is that an EMP Attack against the United States might kill all but 30 million Americans, and end our great nation forever.

See https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2010/01/19/emp-attack-only-30-million-americans-survive/ (“EMP Attack: Only 30 Million Americans Survive“) (see also the extensive comments beneath this article)

To the best of my knowledge, the Obama Administration did little or nothing to protect us from an EMP Attack; and shortly after Obama was elected president in 2008, I read and reread his book, “Dreams from My Father,” which was shocking.

See https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2009/12/05/is-barack-obama-a-racist/ (“Is Barack Obama A Racist?“)

Fast forward to today, and Adam Kredo has written in the Washington Free Beacon:

The Trump administration is taking steps to protect the United States from electro-magnetic pulse events, or EMPs, a type of event that can occur naturally but that has also been weaponized by nations seeking to cripple the country’s critical infrastructure.

“An electromagnetic pulse (EMP) has the potential to disrupt, degrade, and damage technology and critical infrastructure systems,” the White House writes in the new executive order. “Human-made or naturally occurring EMPs can affect large geographic areas, disrupting elements critical to the Nation’s security and economic prosperity, and could adversely affect global commerce and stability.”

“It is the policy of the United States to prepare for the effects of EMPs through targeted approaches that coordinate whole-of-government activities and encourage private-sector engagement,” the order states. “The Federal Government must provide warning of an impending EMP; protect against, respond to, and recover from the effects of an EMP through public and private engagement, planning, and investment; and prevent adversarial events through deterrence, defense, and nuclear nonproliferation efforts.”

The White House is seeking to have a comprehensive strategy on EMPs within the next year.

“This Executive Order advances increased resilience to Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) events by directing better data gathering, testing, and private-sector coordination to implement protective measures,” the White House said in a statement accompanying the new order. “The Executive Order also instructs departments and agencies to coordinate and streamline these efforts, while fostering an environment, through strong Administration leadership, that promotes private-sector innovation to strengthen our critical infrastructure.”

“President Trump will always do what it takes to keep Americans safe. Today’s Executive Order—the first ever to establish a comprehensive policy to improve resilience to EMPs—is one more example of how the administration is keeping its promise to always be vigilant against present dangers and future threats,” the White House said.

EMP attacks have long been on the United States’s radar, but the Trump administration is taking steps to make prevention against such attacks a priority. To this end, the administration issued a new executive order on Tuesday instructing a range of federal agencies to work more closely together to mitigate the risks of such a catastrophe.

EMP attacks, whether natural or used as warfare against the United States, can take the nation’s most critical infrastructure offline, including the electrical grid and other basic necessities.

Senior U.S. officials who briefed reporters on the new order warned that the United States needs to do better to protect against these attacks and safeguard the country’s infrastructure.

“It’s going to be important that we take that unified approach,” said one senior administration official, emphasizing the need for the government to work together, as well as with private sector entities familiar with the EMP threat. “We need to reduce the uncertainty in this space” and “mitigate potential impact” of any EMP attack on America.

The efforts will include not only the White House National Security Council, but also the State, Energy, Interior, and Homeland Security Departments.

U.S. officials said that the threat of a weaponized EMP attack weighed into President Donald Trump’s decision to elevate the issue and order a comprehensive strategy to deal with is.

“This addresses the full range of EMP effect to that nation,” human and otherwise, the official said. The policy is “really is driven towards the full spectrum and understanding the hazards posed towards critical infrastructure.”

The Trump administration’s 2017 national security strategy was the first to identify EMP as a national threat. Since then, the White House has taken “concrete steps to address the threat,” according to the administration officials, who would only speak on background to reporters.

“This really is groundbreaking action that takes the longstanding recommendations of the scientific community to heart and is the first to pull them altogether in a comprehensive suite of actions” to mitigate the threat, according to one of the U.S. officials who briefed reporters.

Federal agencies and their private sector partners will seek to “improve our understanding of EMP effects” and “strengthen critical infrastructure to withstand the effects of EMP,” officials said. “We’re taking a whole of government approach.”

See https://freebeacon.com/national-security/white-house-warns-of-emp-attacks-on-u-s/ (emphasis added); see also http://www.dickmorris.com/at-last-protection-against-emp/ (“At Last! Protection Against EMP!“)

The possibilities of nation-ending EMP Attacks against the United States and/or against its ally Israel are perhaps the greatest threats to both countries and their peoples that exist today.

It is important to repeat again:

Launched from a barge off the U.S. coast, [in the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans, or in the Gulf of Mexico or the Sea of Cortez,] an EMP attack consisting of one nuclear warhead attached to a single missile might shut down much of the country and kill all except 30 million Americans. Such an attack has been described as “a ‘giant continental time machine’ that would move us back more than a century in technology to the late 1800s”—and effectively destroy our great nation.

The same is true for Israel. This reality is sobering, and yes frightening. And no, I am not being a wild-eyed alarmist or fanatic.

Giuliani Vows To Uncover Criminal Evidence Of DOJ Fraud [UPDATED]

Newsmax.com has reported:

Rudy Giuliani skewered the “phony politicians” at the top of the Justice Department who were sucking up to those in power to delegitimize President Donald Trump’s election, and now his team intends to find “who tried to perpetrate a fraud on the American people.”

“What they did here, I believe, over the next six months, we’re going to uncover evidence, that what they did here was criminal,” Giuliani told Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine.”

“. . . Somebody made this up, Jeanine. Somebody conceived this. And they superimposed it, and they went out to try to prove it. And we have to find out: Who’s the brains behind this? Couple of, four or five possibilities. I think we’ll find them.”

Giuliani’s possible targets are those bandied-about names (James Comey, Andrew McCabe, among others) who have spoken out on President Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia to interfere with the 2016 presidential election – claims which were not corroborated by any evidence uncovered by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Mueller’s report, which was summarized last week by Attorney General William Barr, found no evidence of collusion and could not find sufficient evidence to pursue a charge of obstruction of justice on behalf of President Trump. Judge Jeanine Pirro said the summary exonerated the president and “indicted” those searching for a crime neither the president nor his campaign committed.

“Well, first of all, I know you agree with me,” Giuliani told Pirro. “The people it indicts are the corrupted politicians at the top of the FBI and DOJ. No field office of the FBI is implicated in this. No agent who is sacrificing his life to protect us. It’s a bunch of these phony politicians at the top who corrupt themselves because they want to suck up to whoever’s in power.”

This is the greatest constitutional crisis in our nation’s history since the Civil War, far eclipsing Watergate. Yet, the Civil War was a war of succession, not a war to bring about regime change or to destroy our precious Constitution:

[O]ur Civil War was a war of secession by the South, not a war to alter our form of democratic government.

See https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2018/03/11/robert-mueller-should-be-executed-for-treason/ (“Robert Mueller Should Be Executed For Treason“)

In a very real sense, America’s second Civil War has begun already, brought to our great nation by the same forces who brought us the last Civil War; namely, the Democrats who promoted and perpetuated slavery and racism—and now anti-Semitism.

This time, they are being aided and abetted by some in the GOP, who are too stupid to understand what is happening, much less comprehend fully the consequences of their un-American actions. I believe this is treason, and that each of the co-conspirators must pay dearly for their crimes.

Lots of us did not vote for Barack Obama, but we certainly did not try to destroy his presidency. Our great nation’s future is at stake; and our enemies around the world are salivating. And yes, we have been moving incrementally closer to America’s second Civil War, which—like the last one—may not end peacefully.

Arguably we are in the midst of the greatest internal threat to our nation since the election of Abraham Lincoln, and the sedition of the Confederacy that followed.

Joe Biden Is Toast

Joe Biden is toast

Al Weaver has written for TheHill:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Monday that a pair of allegations of inappropriate kissing and touching against former Vice President Joe Biden should “not at all” disqualify him from the 2020 race.

“No. No, I do not,” Pelosi told reporters when asked if she thinks the allegations from two women are disqualifying.

“I don’t think that this disqualifies him from being president,” she said while walking to the House chamber. “Not at all.”

Pelosi declined to say whether this could damage Biden in a potential 2020 bid.

The comments came after a second woman, Amy Lappos, accused Biden of inappropriately rubbing noses with her at a 2009 fundraiser in Greenwich, Conn.

Her claim followed a complaint from former Nevada legislator Lucy Flores, who said Biden kissed the back of her head while holding her shoulders during a 2014 event in Nevada when she was running for lieutenant governor.

Biden on Sunday said he did not believe he had acted inappropriately while offering “countless handshakes, hugs, expressions of affection, support and comfort” on the campaign trail.

“If it is suggested I did so, I will listen respectfully. But it was never my intention,” he said.

On Monday, a spokesperson for Biden also pushed back strongly at what he described as a “cottage industry of lies” against the former vice president that include photos that have been misconstrued or misinterpreted, according to Biden’s camp.

Stephanie Carter, the wife of former Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, highlighted one photo in a post on Sunday that shows Biden with his hands on her shoulders. She said the photo had been “misleadingly extracted” from a longer moment at her husband’s swearing-in ceremony and that the former vice president had been offering his support to her.

“I won’t pretend that this will be the last of that picture, but it will be the last of other people speaking for me,” Carter wrote in a post on Medium.

Is there a double standard for Democrats like Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, Roman Polanski, Bill Clinton, and now Joe Biden too?

The Treasonous Left’s Attempt To Destroy Our Electoral College [UPDATED]

Having failed with the Mueller witch hunt, the treasonous Left is working feverishly to bypass our wonderful and timeless Constitution and destroy the Electoral College, as Dick Morris has discussed in his video.

This effort must be stopped in its tracks. Legal challenges must be mounted, which will go all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, where the States’ efforts will be held to be unconstitutional.

There is no need for the Congress to pass a new law to stop it; the Supreme Court will do that. The Left’s efforts are likely to go nowhere, except to infuse/enthuse their base and raise money.

The States cannot override the Constitution, which is the beauty of the system that our Founders created. And yes, lots of us began as Democrats, but will never vote for one again.

This is why President Trump needs to keep appointing conservative Justices to the Court (e.g., the replacements for the senile and demented Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and for Justice Breyer).

Lastly, what the Left fails to comprehend—much less fully—is that millions of Americans in the “Flyover States” and elsewhere are armed with 300 million weapons, if the gun control figures are correct: and they include our police, ICE and the military.

One must never forget who lost the last Civil War, badly: the Democrats who promoted and perpetuated slavery and racism—and now anti-Semitism. Our heroes were Lincoln, Grant and Sherman, who kept the Union together and decimated the opposition, which must happen this time too.

Again, this is war. It is multi-faceted and multi-dimensional, and not simply a culture war; and it must be treated as such.

However, electors are expected to support the candidate selected by the states’ voters”)

Trump’s First Step Toward 2020?

In an editorial of The New York Sun, it is stated:

Could President Trump’s bipartisan criminal justice reform — known as the First Step Act — prove to be a first step in a political revolution? We ask because of a startling disclosure by one of the President’s shrewdest lieutenants in the campaign for First Step, Jared Kushner. It turns out, he said, that greater numbers of ex-cons being granted suffrage in Florida are registering as Republicans.

Mr. Kushner, the President’s son-in-law, dropped that surprise almost in passing toward the end of an interview with Laura Ingraham. The interview was mainly about the First Step Act celebrated Monday at the White House. Toward the end of the interview, though, they chatted about the Democratic field. Ms. Ingraham popped one of those classic one-word questions: “Socialism?”

”I don’t think that’s where the country is,” Mr. Kushner said. “One statistic that I found very pleasing is that in Florida they passed a law where former felons can now vote. We’ve had more ex-felons register as Republicans than Democrats, and I think they see the reforms . . .” Ms. Ingraham cut in: “Whoa, whoa, whoa. You’ve had more ex-felons register as Republicans than Democrats?”

“That’s the data that I’ve seen,” replied Mr. Kushner. “I think that will surprise a lot of people when they see the new coalition that President Trump is building for what the Republican Party has the potential to be.”

No doubt it would be a mistake to make too much of this. It’s been but months since Florida amended its constitution to restore voting rights to felons. It will take years for the effects to show up in voter registration and at the polls. Yet it would be a mistake to make [too] little of it, as well. Particularly because we’ve had some — not to put too fine a point on it — close races in the Sunshine State.

Florida’s constitutional amendment, after all, restored, at least de jure, suffrage to something like 1.5 million ex-cons, according to the various press accounts. The Democrats were the party pushing for putting these men and women back on the voting rolls. That brings Florida in line with most states. The party seems to have taken for granted that they will reap the advantage.

That could prove to be yet another underestimation of Mr. Trump. We’re not predicting that, just marking the possibility. The video of the event at the White House to mark the signing of the First Step Act underscores the point. It is, not to put too fine a point on it, breathtaking and worth watching in full. It illuminates the President’s abilities as an inclusive, bipartisan leader.

And as a strategist. Mr. Clinton declared that the First Step Act “rolls back provisions of the 1994 Clinton crime law that was so devastating to so many — and that disproportionately impacted the African American community. Nobody believed how much, and now they understand it.” Just to mark the point, 1994 “Clinton” crime bill was written by the Democrat itching to challenge Mr. Trump, Joe Biden.

It’s not our purpose to suggest that the First Step Act is without issues (it was opposed by a number of the most conservative senators). Our purpose is to mark that while the Democrats are trying to get out of first gear — they’re still focused on the Mueller report — Mr. Trump is setting up his 2020 strategy in a highly premeditated way, one that the Democrats seem determined to underestimate yet again.

See https://www.nysun.com/editorials/trumps-first-step-toward-2020/90636/ (“Trump’s ‘First Step’ Toward 2020“) (emphasis added) (As stated in a footnote: “First Step Act is an acronym for the Formerly Incarcerated Reenter Society Transformed Safely Transitioning Every Person Act”)

Our Guardians Of The Truth, And Their Nonstop Stream Of Misinformation [UPDATED]

FAKE NEWS

Political pundit and lawyer Ann Coulter has written at Townhall:

The only people surprised that the special counsel’s investigation of Russian collusion did not confirm a lunatic conspiracy theory are consumers of the modern American media. For two years, our constitutionally protected guardians of the truth put out a stream of misinformation, promising viewers that Robert Mueller was going to reverse the outcome of the 2016 election.

Everyone at fake news MSNBC, marginally less fake news NBC, and totally fake news CNN — hosts, guests, legal experts and national security analysts — should be told, Clean out your lockers. Put all your things in cardboard cartons. If you need to go back, you will be escorted by security.

Instead, they are adamantly refusing to take back their years of lies about Trump and Russian collusion. This is not a time to let bygones by bygones. The boot should not be lifted from the media’s throat.

In case you’ve forgotten what needs to be taken back, here is a random selection, from a single network for simplicity:

“Hi Nicolle, and if it is Monday, the Russian conspiracy is so much worse than we knew … The Russian conspiracy to help get Donald Trump elected was apparently wider, deeper, dirtier, more sophisticated and more pervasive than we thought.”

— Katy Tur, MSNBC, Dec. 17, 2018

“Well, this demonstrates that Robert Mueller is focusing on exactly what he is supposed to be focusing on, and that is Russia … We already have clear evidence of collaboration between the Trump campaign and Russian agents.”

— Richard Painter, lawyer, MSNBC, May 1, 2018

“You see all of these Russian connections — there’s a new one every single day, and increasingly benign explanations for what the Trump, for what they’re up to, benign explanations are just not credible.”

— Max Boot, warmonger, MSNBC, July 21, 2017

“We have the most immoral president perhaps in American history particularly because of the foreign influence of Russia … it is hard to believe that a prosecutor of Mueller’s testing and experience would come to the end of this and not have something to say about these terrible offenses.”

— John Flannery, lawyer, MSNBC, March 18, 2019

“I’ll tell you something, if (Russia’s ‘inside man’ is) not George Papadopoulos, then we’ve got a mystery person inside the Trump campaign who theoretically could still be in place.”

— Frank Figliuzzi, former assistant director for counterintelligence, FBI, MSNBC, Jan. 9, 2018

“I believe that what we have here is a very broad-based criminal conspiracy. … And Donald Trump is a walking example of how any intelligence officer can turn someone against their own nation. As John Brennan said, most of the time, they don’t even know that they’re committing treason.”

— Malcolm Nance, counterterrorism intel analyst, MSNBC, Nov. 30, 2018

“This is the linkage between Donald Trump and Russia in crimes.”

— Jill Wine-Banks, assistant Watergate prosecutor, MSNBC, Dec. 7, 2018

“It’s going to be so clear that this has been a criminal enterprise from day one with the Russians and Trump …”

— Rep. Steve Cohen, MSNBC, Dec. 7, 2018

“Were these gun rights folks potentially a conduit for Russian money alongside other forms of Russian government influence on our 2016 campaign?”

— Rachel Maddow, MSNBC, July 25, 2018

“And what about Trump’s ringleadership of his people, including family members and their efforts to win this award of a foreign power, Russia, to win the presidency?”

— Chris Matthews, MSNBC, March 8, 2019

“And the Russians’ investment in (Trump) goes back decades. … It may have been the situation where (Trump) decided, look, what Russia is giving us in terms of political help here and undermining Hillary Clinton’s candidacy may be way bigger than any deal we could ever get in Russia.”

— Natasha Bertrand, The Atlantic, MSNBC, Nov. 30, 2018

“So, with this whole real estate deal and the claws that the Russians had into (Cohen), and what he was doing with that in terms of dealing with the Russians was all part and parcel of this conspiracy that resulted in their assistance in the campaign.”

— Nick Akerman, assistant Watergate prosecutor, MSNBC, Nov. 30, 2018

“An American president who has been compromised by the Russians faces the world.”

— Chris Hayes, MSNBC, Nov. 30, 2018

Coulter is correct, and it is worth repeating:

The boot should not be lifted from the media’s throat.

NBC and the rest of FAKE NEWS must be boycotted and spurned forever. Lots of us have been doing just that. CNN is never watched, nor are NBC and its sister network MSNBC.

The treason to which they refer was and is being committed by Barack Obama, the Clintons, Robert Mueller and their fellow co-conspirators.

I have railed against Russia’s killer Putin for years, and will celebrate the day that he shares Benito Mussolini’s fate. However, the only deal cut by Putin was with the Clintons when he and Russia received 20 percent of America’s vital and scarce Uranium supplies; and the Clintons and their foundation were paid $145 million for their “services.”

And yes, at the very least, the traitor Mueller looked the other way while Americans and our great nation were robbed, quite literally. The money was “chump change” for Putin, but it was “pieces of gold” for the totally-corrupt Clintons of Arkansas.

See, e.g., https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2017/10/20/the-real-russian-conspiracy-barack-obama-the-clintons-and-the-sale-of-americas-uranium-to-russias-killer-putin/ (“The Real Russian Conspiracy: Barack Obama, The Clintons, And The Sale Of America’s Uranium To Russia’s Killer Putin“) and https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2010/09/24/washington-is-sick-and-the-american-people-know-it/#comment-7185 (“Clinton Fatigue“)

Are we approaching a second Civil War in America? I do not discount that possibility, nor its horrific consequences. The efforts to overturn the last election, and deny the legitimacy of Donald Trump’s presidency continue to this day—and I believe they are treasonous and un-American. Clearly, Barack Obama might have been attacked for a myriad of reasons, and nonstop attacks might have been leveled at him too, but they were not. Today, they should be: he is a co-conspirator in the treason.

See, e.g., https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2009/12/05/is-barack-obama-a-racist/ (“Is Barack Obama A Racist?“) (see also the extensive comments beneath the article) and https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2019/03/24/the-mueller-witch-hunt-is-over/#comment-16712 (“The Treasonous Left’s Attempt To Destroy Our Electoral College“)

I began as a Democrat, but I will never vote for one again. Like Ronald Reagan said, the party left him; he did not leave the party. There is nothing civil or compromising about the political discourse in this country anymore. The Mueller Report would have been rejected by the Jerry Nadlers, Adam Schiffs and Maxine Waters of this world unless it crucified Trump.

And the march to destroy his presidency and him continues unabated, by the media sources that Coulter cites and their treasonous co-conspirators. Like Richard Nixon before him, it will continue for the balance of his presidency, probably all eight years of it; and the hatred on both sides will only grow.

Fervent Trump supporters are in the “Flyover States,” and from coast to coast. And yes, they are appalled by what the Left has been doing, both before and after the last election. Will the “war” between these competing forces turn into America’s second Civil War? Only time will tell. Will they kill each other, quite literally? Only time will tell.

Americans were torn apart by the Vietnam War and then Watergate. Now, and in the days to come, we may watch the great “American experiment” torn asunder, to the satisfaction and benefit of our enemies around the globe. This must not be allowed to happen. Too much is at stake.

I personally would send this note to every person in Congress and in our judiciary. Every judge, every District Attorney, and the CEO of every corporation in America. I’ve tried but my communications come back ripped to shreds stamped, “Addressee Unknown,” “Unable to Deliver,” “Return to Sender.” I’ve learned that each of my preferred addressees has a crowd of “readers” intercepting all the incoming mail and judging which items should be forwarded to the person in the address. I may be sending unacceptable messages. Very frustrating. I’ve even tried to send to lower-echelon staff members but my pieces get, ” cut off at the pass.”

If anyone you know has an infallible source for pertinent addresses, please steer me to him/her.

Thanks for always being vigilent.

Thank you, Ron. Your comments are always excellent; and this is no exception.

Official Washington is a labyrinth, discernible just barely by the faint of heart, including yours truly. One thing that I began years ago was a “Links” page, which contains most of the important links to Web sites that I use regularly.

See http://www.naegele.com/links.html

It needs to be updated, desperately, which I plan to do when my firm’s Web site is “refreshed” (i.e., overhauled completely), possibly later this year. Most of the links still work; and I urge you and others to scan them, and determine which are useful.

For example, here is the U.S. Senate’s Web site, with links to the key people, etc.

See https://www.senate.gov/pagelayout/history/g_three_sections_with_teasers/people.htm

Please realize that mass amounts of mail and e-mail messages, and now text messages, descend on the White House and congressional offices each and every day of the week. Again, by way of an example with which I am very familiar, when “hot issues” hit the Congress, it would not be unusual for Senator Brooke’s office in the Russell Senate Office Building to receive 10,000 pieces of mail.

Form responses were drafted by key staff members; and there were automated signature machines in the basement that would churn out responses and affix the Senator’s signature to them. Today, computers do this automatically.

Please realize too that House offices have very few staff members compared to Senate offices, at least until the Member reaches some level of seniority (e.g., chairperson of a committee), which means that they spend virtually all of their time on constituent matters and responses. If they neglect this, they do not get reelected every two years. 🙂

Keep trying, and pick the right staff member whom you contact. Good luck!

Democrats And Toxic Media At Their Worst [UPDATED]

FAKE NEWS

This is the title of an editorial in the Boston Herald, which is worth reading:

The left and its compliant media are willfully reporting false news to the American people. Whether it is a symptom of mass hysteria that is the genesis for this confirmation bias-style reporting or an intentional maneuver to spread anti-Trump propaganda, its effect is toxic and pernicious.

The report comes in the form of a tweet making its way through the Twitter-sphere in which a user named Mark Elliott has posted a video of Donald Trump who he contends is referring to migrants at the border as “animals.” Elliott, who has almost 20,000 followers added the comment, “@realDonaldTrump on people asking for asylum “These aren’t people. These are animals.”

In truth, the video is almost a year old. Last May, during a meeting with the president, Sheriff Margaret Mims of Fresno County, Calif., explained to Trump that she was frustrated over that state’s restrictive immigration sanctuary policies.

“There could be an MS-13 member I know about — if they don’t reach a certain threshold, I cannot tell ICE about it,” she told Trump.

“We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in,” Trump said of the murderous gang, in response. “And we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking people out of the country. You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals. And we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before. And because of the weak laws, they come in fast, we get them, we release them, we get them again, we bring them out. It’s crazy.”

The president’s words were clearly relating to the murderous gang MS-13 and not innocent migrants. The exchange first became a controversy last year when House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi mischaracterized the remarks. “When the president of the United States says about undocumented immigrants, ‘These aren’t people; these are animals,’ you have to wonder: Does he not believe in the spark of divinity, the dignity and worth of every person?”

The New York Times, Washington Post and Associated Press all piled on. That was last year but here we go again.

Glenn Thrush of the Times retweeted the post and commented, “These are animals.”

MSNBC’s Joy Reid posted, “Asylum seekers ‘aren’t people.’ They are ‘Animals’. This is particularly frightening language coming out of a person vested with the power of a presidential office.”

CNN’s Ana Navarro-Cardenas tweeted a picture of a child and wrote, “This little boy is seeking asylum in the United States. His name is William. Trump calls him [an] ‘animal.’”

Ben Rhodes, former national security adviser to President Barack Obama tweeted, “If the leader of any other country said this, we would view it as a horrifying, authoritarian assault on human dignity. Which it is.”

On and on the list goes. Tweets and retweets of misinformation. Millions of Americans will believe what they have read and look on their neighbors as suspect.

Americans can tweet what they want. Reputable media personnel, however, are entrusted to be the conveyors of truth. They constantly declare their import with screeds about the First Amendment. Those in media who propagated this toxic lie should be fired.

See https://www.bostonherald.com/2019/04/08/democrats-and-toxic-media-at-their-worst/ (emphasis added); see also https://www.wnd.com/2019/04/major-newspaper-erupts-on-toxic-media-democrats/ (“Boston Herald erupts on toxic media, Democrats“) and http://buchanan.org/blog/already-deep-in-the-politics-of-hate-136808 (“Already Deep in the Politics of Hate“)

And yes, lots of us began as Democrats, but will never vote for one again.

Democrats are evil
