Pat Buchanan—an adviser to Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Gerald Ford, and a former GOP presidential aspirant himself—has written an article entitled “Is a Cold War II with China Inevitable?” as follows:
Today, the four premier leaders of The Quad — the U.S., Australia, India and Japan — conduct their first summit, by teleconference.
The Quad, or Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, is an informal strategy forum of the major Indo-Pacific democracies that some wish to see evolve into an Asian NATO to contain China, as NATO contained the Soviet Union for 40 years of Cold War.
Next week, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and national security adviser Jake Sullivan meet their Chinese counterparts midway between Beijing and Washington — in Anchorage, Alaska.
The Chinese are said to have sought out the two-day meeting since before the inauguration of Biden.
And understandably so. For while the Chinese are hoping for a reset of relations after a troubled last year with the Trump administration, leaders of both U.S. parties — to compensate for decades of congressional indulgence of Beijing —suddenly seem to be on their muscle.
Consider. During the transition, the Biden foreign policy team gave a war guarantee to Manila to fight alongside the Philippines in any clash with the Chinese over disputed rocks and reefs in the South China Sea.
Tokyo was informed that its mutual security treaty with the United States that dates to the 1950s covers the uninhabited Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea. But Beijing also claims these islands as her own.
On the eve of his taking office, Blinken said he agreed with Mike Pompeo’s view that China’s brutal repression of the Uighurs in Xinjiang constitutes “genocide” and crimes against humanity. That latter charge is what the Nazis were hanged for at Nuremberg.
How can the United States send athletes to the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, if the Chinese are still crushing Hong Kong and committing crimes against humanity in western China that compare to the worst Nazi crimes of World War II?
Testifying before Congress this week, four-star Admiral Phil Davidson, retiring commander of the Indo-Pacific, called for new defensive missiles to protect Guam against Chinese DF-21 and DF-26 missiles. China calls these missiles “Guam killers.”
The admiral also called for the U.S. to develop intermediate-range missiles that can be fired from Guam and allied territory closer to China. Describing the need for offensive missiles to hit Chinese targets, Davidson said, “If I can’t score some runs, I can’t win the game.”
Addressing Taiwan, Davidson said:
“Over the past year, Beijing has pursued a coordinated campaign of diplomatic, information, economic, and — increasingly — military tools to isolate Taipei from the international community and if necessary compel unification with the (Peoples Republic of China.)”
Chinese warplanes have lately flown in formation toward the island of 25 million, which Beijing claims as its national territory — a claim President Nixon seemed to concede in the Shanghai Communique after his Peking summit of 1972.
“Our commitment to Taiwan is rock-solid,” was how the Biden State Department answered China’s aggressive moves.
If we don’t establish rules of the road for U.S. and Chinese ships and planes in the East and South China Sea and Taiwan strait, how do we indefinitely avoid the kind of collision that could turn into a shooting war?
In this widening and deepening confrontation, China is not backing down. She makes no apologies for the crackdown in Hong Kong or the concentration camps of the Uighurs. She continues to stonewall about how the coronavirus escaped from Wuhan to kill 500,000 Americans and many times that number worldwide.
Meanwhile, Chinese bombers, fighters, warships and patrol boats approach closer and closer to planes, vessels and territory of America and her friends and allies. Nor has China surrendered a rock or reef or shoal in the South or East China Sea.
Last week, Blinken called China the “biggest geopolitical test of the 21st century,” the only country able “to seriously challenge the stable and open international system.”
And in America, whatever your political party, “standing up to China” seems to be a winning posture. But where is all this going? Where does all this end?
Beijing is not apologetically but proudly Communist. It believes its system has been proven superior in this century. It does not believe in an equality of ideologies, religions or peoples. It openly rejects American democracy as a failed and failing system, and rejects any suggestion of American primacy in creating a “rules-based international order.”
And if it continues to grow in real and relative terms for the next two decades as it did in the last two decades — given that China has four times the population of the United States — it could emerge not only as the dominant power in Asia and the Indo-Pacific but in the world.
And what can we do to assure that does not happen — short of a war that could be disaster to us both, as World War II was for the British as well as the Germans.
How do we decouple from a country that provides necessities of national life — such as pharmaceuticals — for our people?[2]
I beg to differ with Buchanan. The United States and the American people have been at war with China ever since it launched the deadly Coronavirus, inadvertently or as a bioweapon. As my Coronavirus article stated clearly and unequivocally—leaving aside governmental entreaties and diplomatic niceties—Americans and other global consumers must boycott anything and everything from China, until it is brought to its knees economically. Nothing less will suffice.[3][4]
Lastly, is the Biden-Harris administration leading us to a shooting war with China? Will we boycott the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing? Time will tell.

Conservative author, professor, and speaker Victor David Hanson recently described China as having an old-fashioned mercantilistic economy, much like England and the United States afterwards. Germany has one, as well. We, in contrast, have evolved into a domestic “service” economy still largely dependent on (imported) foreign products.
He also stated that China is establishing global “choke points” like England did beforehand with its coal refueling stations on the major international sea shipping lanes in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. China is extending its physical presence at critical and strategic locations around the world ( Belt an Road Initiative, among them). We are just increasingly focused on our (petty) domestic (political) affairs, Covid controls, and ever encroaching socialism.
For example, China has a long established a presence in the Panama Canal Zone with large international shipping and commercial firms such as Hong Kong listed Hutchinson Wampoha (HWL). This company owns much of the commercial land and warehouses next to the canal. China is forward thinking and eventually may have American commercial interests checkmated. WE play checkers and the Chinese leadership plays chess. So, then what can we do about it at some future point? Go to war? A (bad) joke.
Most (60%) service-aged Americans are deemed “unfit for duty” in a volunteer army by the Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps due to poor education (High School dropouts), low I.Q., criminal records, drug and alcohol abuse, being obese and generally unhealthy, diagnosed mental problems ( psychos or narcissists), and other disqualifying personal, physical and group deficiencies. The next war will therefore necessitate a military draft of Millineals. They would then have to fight and die for our “Deep State” elitists and globalists.
No way for an increasingly strung-out U.S. to manage the logistics and our Navy might just become obsolete by then and bottled-up at various international shipping “choke points”. We are gradually relinquishing the high ground ever year as our politicians argue (banter), jockey, and score points (political gotchas) fighting each other for the “low hanging” fruit and enriching themselves in the process. First, Hanson is a historian, not a seer of the future.
Second, Donald Trump was attempting to restore America’s position in the world — not dependent on foreign products and services — when the election was stolen from him, and from us.
Third, Jimmy Carter effectively “deeded” the canal to China, which was one of many Democrats’ tragedies that have been foisted on the American people.
Fourth, an all-out “shooting” war may be fought with EMP attacks and the like. China has recently used an EMP weapon to fry Indian troops in their border war.
Lastly, I do not expect the Biden presidency to last four years. In 2024, Donald Trump may return to the White House. Stay tuned. 😊

CHINA’S LONG TERM MILITARY PLANS FOR US ( 1994-2040)
It would take 8-9 aerial Nuclear Detonations to cause a EMP wave of sufficient magnitude to knock-out all our three major National Energy Power Grids ( fry the electronics components). Only Russia AND China together could pull it off. Assume a bio-weapon of high lethality (> Covid-19) would be thrown-in for good measure in our cities, as well. Most urban residents would croak in short-order.
If they did, figure 20 minutes later all major U.S. military installations would be nuked and destroyed, decapitating our military. We would be done and China would be the last man standing, taking control of the rest of the world. We would not be a threat to them after we are “exterminated”.
If Speaker Nancy Pelsoi (hardly a “stable” or rational individual ) is successful in having the President’s satchel or “football” of nuclear codes taken-away from him (Joe Biden) and handed-over to Congress, then we would be set-up for failure. All future president’s would be hamstrung and pay the price. ( All just to keep the nuclear keys away from a mentally “unstable” President Trump or anyone like him ).
Imagine the Speaker of the House and the President together receiving the same emergency call at 3:00 AM. A “do-nothing” Congress would be unable to arrive at a decision and command in time to stop a first strike against U.S. soil. After that, there would be little left worth fighting about. We would rapidly descend into chaos and our standard of living would go into the stone-age overnight. Few hardly individuals would survive for long in such a bleak scenario. Population reduction would be realized in a flash. Hope it never happens in my lifetime.

I have a true story regarding my family and Mexico, going back to my Grandfather’s birth in Mexico City ( Ciudad de Mexico) in 1896. In fact, all of my grandparents were born about the same time (different places, such as Grover, Colorado), as well as Aunts and Uncles too. Boy has America changed since then, as well as the whole world. As we spoil (rot), so does the rest of the Western World. (Ironically, Maduro is Spanish means rotting fruit).
In around 1913, Pancho Villa forced all Gringos (“Blancos”), even those born and raised in Mexico (fully bilingual) with dual citizenship, to leave Mexico. So, I assume my Grandfather and his parents had to return to America in haste during the revolucio’n; and any personal property they may have owned was forfeited to the State. Same thing happened when Fidel Castro overthrew Cuban President Batista in 1950. ( Batista was VERY Corrupt). History repeats. About the only people in today’s world that will just sit and take it like a sack of shit are so many contemporary Americans ( Passive-Aggressive voters)
We (all) should be much more concerned with public policies (a.k.a. “Politics”) here at home because if the Collectivists sic. Democrats successfully turn this country into a virtual National Socialist State ( Corrupt One-Party Rule), as they seem to be attempting, then the following progression in the U.S.A. is a virtual certainty, based on history ( of communism ):
First, the Federal Government will take away more of your liberties without due process of law ( already a work-in-progress ). Of course, the government has been violating the U.S. Constitution and getting away with it for the most part so far. Secondly, they will take away some more of your property and savings ( coming soon starting with higher Federal taxes all-around ). And lastly, at the very end of the takeover or conversion, they will even attempt to take your life.
First casualty of (civil) war is your individual freedom/liberties, followed by reduced or no property (rights), and lastly, human life ( a bloodbath). If you hang around for the duration, then it’s probably to the death. No true patriot would surrender without some push-back, at least.
Relocating abroad to avoid our ongoing social and economic decline and increasing state meddling or infringement in our personal liberties ( continual mask mandates, other travel restrictions or requirements and nit picking at-large ) may work for a time. American expats who currently reside permanently in Mexico ( 1.2 Million of them ) or elsewhere in Latin America only works as long as the U.S. Dollar is worth more than the local currency or Mexican Peso. American tourism is the foundation of the local Mexican economy as it is. Take away this economic foundation and Mexico will probably soon see another Revolution.
So, If you own a second residence or house down South and there is another revolution down there some day, as occurred with Pancho Villa between 1910-1920, then expect to have your property seized by the socialists sic. Marxists. If you are lucky, you suffer a material loss but escape with your life. Otherwise, if you are unlucky, then you may have to go to a Mexican Prison to rot to death. Then everything comes full-circle once again (1920-2021). It’s certainly happened before, as the old cliche’ goes.

Second, I have no faith in our legal system to protect us. Our Supreme Court is a travesty and essentially worthless; and our lesser courts are even worse.
Third, will conditions deteriorate as you have described? Both of us hope not, but anything is possible. What is totally certain, however, is that China’s Communist rulers are poised to gain/benefit as America declines; and the same is true of Russia’s killer Putin. Indeed, he has nothing to lose as his life comes to an end.

China and Russia, and maybe North Korea, have more to gain and we stand to have the most to lose all-around. The American People are like ducks lined-up in a row before a hawk or other predator scatters them to the wind, as a group; or just as likely, picks them off one at a time.
China has Taiwan right were they want it, unable or unwilling (afraid) to go to war to stop provocative military flights, sic. “incursions” into their sovereign air space on a daily basis by Chinese Military aircraft. How long would we tolerate a foreign air power flying across the U.S. on a weekly or daily schedule? Only a patently weak or defeated nation would allow such obvious criminal trespasses without good cause.
President Biden’s assurances of unwavering support of a sovereign Taiwan is not in the slightest way a deterrent to China’s plans to absorb Taiwan sooner rather than later. All it takes is the right circumstances, and it will be all-over in a flash.
Clarence Thomas, the Supreme Court Justice, said this about Joe Biden during his confirmation hearings: “I had no idea what Senator Biden was rambling about concerning ‘natural law.’ I just played along with the confirmation process and kept quiet and attentive.
Dr. Thomas Sowell was more direct: “Joe Biden is a fake and an incompetent man”. “Joe Biden has been totally wrong on every issue over the past 40 years.” This is the man whom the people elected as our president because they hated President Trump so much! I would add that President Biden and family are corrupt, as well. We have inadvertently made China Great Again. Way to go voters ( Libtards) ! YOU LOSE.

We have lived in “magical times,” post-World War II, when even the tragic Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Afghan and Iraq Wars could not darken our horizons.
We have survived Bubba and Hillary Clinton, as well as the consummate racist and anti-Semite Barack Obama.
Now that approximately 75 million Americans believe the 2020 elections were fraudulent, we have to endure Brain Dead Joe and Willie Brown’s ho Kamala, while China’s Communist rulers and Russia’s killer Putin plot our demise.

ILLUSTRATIONS OF HOW AMERICANS ARE DESTROYING THEMSELVES
The mentality of Today’s average American (hourly) retail worker:
In 1973, I worked at Safeway part-time during my last year of High School. In order to work I first had to get a work permit from the County and then, join the Union. Afterwards, I was permitted to work. ( No wonder so many teenagers just did not bother). The store manager said back then: “There is only one (golden) rule here: the customer is ALWAYS right”.
Today, customer service (at Vons) is second fiddle to first enforcing proper mask wearing and nit-picking customers over trivial infractions such as your mask did not fully cover your nose AND mouth. Tisk, Tisk, Tisk. Therefore, “Customer service” in today’s America is degraded to harassing customers over small, inconsequential issues or worse yet, arguing with customers. So, why go there? Nobody wants to be insulted or treated as a slave. Who do they think they are anyway?
Store employees are unwittingly digging their own grave, as customers will either go elsewhere where they are treated best or just skip-it altogether and go online and order their groceries for home delivery. Face-to-Face customer contact is going to be passing away in a few more years. Who needs employees anyway? Worthless eaters. Less walk-in business at a grocery store, less hours for their employees. Store employees are only screwing themselves. Simple as pie.
(Vons, Safeway, Albertsons, and Pavilion are all owned by Cerberous Capital Management, whose general partners are all indigenous Japanese Nationals). Corporate profits are exported to Tokyo. Employees & Store Management are working on a globalist platform and are considered less important than the owners. (Japanese are VERY prejudiced towards the non-Japanese).
However, they still follow all US labor and Tax laws, but are slowly bleeding the grocery business dry. Load the company up with cheap debt ( BBB) and then take value out in return. ( Mitt Romney did the same thing with companies he invested in at Bane Capital Mgmt, as well).

My experiences are different. I have been a member of Costco for 32 years, and it is exceptional. When the Coronavirus pandemic began, it had social distancing and adequate supplies of toilet paper and paper towels when Safeway and other large retailers had none of this.
Its customer service is excellent; its gas prices are the cheapest in the area; and the list goes on and on.
Boycott Walmart and Sam’s Club whose products come from our enemy China, but give Costco a chance. Among other things, except for electronics (e.g., laptops), you can return purchases long after you bought them, with no questions asked. 😊

Anyway clearly the Virus was a gain of function creation that escaped the lab. That explains the tremendous efforts China started in Wuhan–building hospitals in a week from scratch. Literally locking people in their homes. They were terrified because they knew what it was. I also believe they figured “lets level the playing field” by letting the virus loose via foreign travel.
The complete secrecy of China’s response would tell a normal person they were guilty and hiding things. The lab is off limits. Personnel disappear in the middle of the night. But not our MSM. China truly is an analogue to Nazi Germany.
In any case what we should do is cancel all our debt with them for starters. They hold $900 billion in US treasury notes.
The UN is worthless. Dr. (Phd) Tedros has a degree in public health he is not a medical doctor. All CNN anchors should be forced to go to him for all their medical needs..
The current situation in our country is like a satire.

Yes, I agree with you that China’s Communist rulers are the moral equivalent of Hitler and his Nazi thugs.
One must never forget that they were responsible for the deaths of approximately 6 million Jews in the Holocaust. Mao killed an estimated 30-40 million in the “Great Leap Forward” of the 1970s. And they have enslaved today an estimated 1 million ethnic minorities including the Uyghurs, in what can be described as “concentration camps.”
They have effectively snuffed out Hong Kong’s fledgling democracy; “fried” Indian soldiers with EMP weapons in their border war with that country; and may move on Taiwan.
I have been emphasizing the power of global consumers, who can institute a boycott of anything and everything from China, just by checking the labels before they buy. Indeed, waiting for governments to act, much less effectively, may be an exercise in futility.
