“Republicans In Shock” was one of the headlines at the once-conservative and bellwether Drudge website.[2] Another was “Fox News Freaks,” which aptly describes the reaction by most at the largely-conservative news network’s roundtable of its anchors and invited guests. This brings to mind the folk tale about Chicken Little, who believes the world is coming to an end, and proclaims: “The sky is falling.”[3]
Political pundit and former Clinton adviser Dick Morris says nonsense. The Republicans have made enormous progress; and Donald Trump has made all the difference. Without him, none of this would have been possible.[4]
When I left the U.S. Senate, I concluded that the Democrats were “evil” but smart, while the Republicans were “Neanderthals” and dumb. This was the resounding message or takeaway from Tuesday’s national elections, and why I have been an Independent for so many years.[5]
Tragically, we live in a Kardashian nation where bimbos can become billionaires; organized religion is despised, and God is honored in the breach; human lives are devalued, with abortions on demand—or Infanticide—being championed; and Brain Dead Joe Biden in the White House, with Kamala Harris waiting in the wings for him to croak.
Our allies don’t understand or respect us, while our enemies—principally Xi Jinping in China, Russia’s butcher Vladimir Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong-un—are moving globally like chess masters to weaken if not destroy us. In short, the inmates are in charge of the asylum; and the GOP’s predicted “red wave” did not materialize . . . although Donald Trump’s endorsed candidates were very successful.
American politics seems to reside in the status quo; and one wonders whether Donald Trump can breath life into its body and soul before the 2024 presidential elections. His “MAGA” or “Make America Great Again” followers have to be dispirited. And the Trump haters are dancing with joy, believing that he may be indicted and fade into the rear-view mirror of history.
Like Mark Twain, the reports of his death and political demise may be an exaggeration and premature.[6] Like Lazarus, he may rise from the grave.[7] Those who wish the worst for Trump, and believe he is a crass opportunist, may find themselves on the wrong side of history. He and Mark Twain may have the last laugh; and may not be consigned to the ash heap of history.
In the interim, the midterm elections are essentially over; and Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and their thoroughly-evil Democrats must be counted as losers. While in the vernacular of the surfing world, it wasn’t known as “wipeout”—a red wave did engulf them. By all reckoning, they did lose control of the House of Representatives; and yes, it’s an opportune time to gloat and for “payback,” after everything they have put our great country and all Americans through.[8]
Many of us began as Democrats, and are enraged by how our former party has become so radicalized. Perhaps George Orwell described it best in his prescient Animal Farm, when he wrote about the takeover by the Pigs, and how they subjugated the other animals.[9] Clearly, the Pigs today—or the uber-Leftists, “Progressives” and eco-Nazis—must be obliterated, never to rise again.[10]
Every single policy change that they initiated after stealing the 2020 election from Donald Trump must be reversed and eliminated forever. Their lackeys in the media who covered for them and became co-conspirators, via “Fake News,” must be fired. Elon Musk threw out the number of 75 percent with respect to Twitter’s staff. It must be decimated.[11] At America’s corrupt “Department of Justice” and FBI, the housecleaning must be complete and unprecedented.[12]
This leads to a discussion of 2024, and who will represent each of America’s two major political parties. California’s Governor Gavin Newsom, who is related to Nancy Pelosi, may lead the Democrats’ list. But his star is fading, inter alia, because of his wife’s links to Harvey Weinstein.[13] Donald Trump is expected to run again, perhaps with Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis as his running mate, which may be formidable and unbeatable.
All of this is occurring against the backdrop of a possible nuclear confrontation, which might destroy the United States. This too is a direct result of Joe Biden’s mental incapacity, and criminality.[14] Where is God in the midst of such changes, and what so many perceive as utter chaos and Godlessness?[15]

WHY AMERICA IS NAKED BEFORE ITS FOREIGN ENEMIES
Traditional America is long gone. Contemporary America is corrupt and secular. Our public schools promote “critical race theory” and sexual perversion. So, why in the world would anyone expect God to rescue an apostate America who’s political elite despise the True God?
We (collectively) pass Abortion Rights Initiatives ( Prop. 1 in California) and in other secular progressive states like New York or Colorado most recently. Anyone who votes against the secular mob is cancelled and replaced with someone more to the Left’s liking. Elections and the “will of the people’ mean nothing to them. Our political elites despise the Constitution, as did the Pigs on Orwell’s fictional Animal Farm.
Instead, our political leadership worships a Golden Calf of money and power. That is their God. Until this dynamic changes, things should be expected to go from Bad to Worse. Its the nature of life and the nature of the universe. That won’t ever change. Karma is harsh as harsh can be.

I prefer to believe that with God, all things are possible. Needless to say, life on this planet has gone through much worse times than these, and survived.

A PERMANENTLY DIVIDED AMERICA DOWN THE LINE
As a political historian, Bill O’Reilly reported today on his podcast that nationally, voter turnout in the Midterm Elections was about 50%, at best. He then stated this is similar to ancient Rome as in Fall of Rome and its”scary”. The good news is both governors of Texas (Abbott) and Florida ( Desantis) easily sailed to reelection as solid, RED States. Florida had an actual “Red Wave” Statewide, as well.
Thoughtful people should take notice. Half of ALL Americans could care less and won’t even bother to mail in a ballot anymore. They don’t care at all. Lazy and stupid are the non-voters. Too many others, such in New York, Blue Arizona or Blue Colorado no longer are mentally capable of voting their own best interests either. Just interested in more free stuff and a joint.

ABORTION # 2 ISSUE WITH YOUNG VOTERS
David Victor Hansen gives a unique take on the failure of the much heralded “Red Wave” to materialize:
Young voters (Generation Z ?) simply voted “outside of their demographic” and thus influenced the election results. They were alarmed at the possibility that abortion would not become universal under Republicans.
So, while polls showed abortion as a lower ranking voter priority below inflation or security (crime), these voters saw things a bit differently. So much for the “Polls”. So, it all depends on whom you poll. Garbage-in, garbage-out.

As a matter of fact, yes. Nilson Ratings mailed me a letter with a crisp, new $ 1 dollar bill inside. Last week they called me up and asked me a few survey questions ( very targeted and specific):
-Have you watched T.V. or listened to the radio in the past week? What did you watch?
2) Is your ethnic group Hispanic, Caucasian, Asian, etc. ?
A couple more dollar bills were received in the mail afterwards. ( Enough to buy a cup of coffee). Not worth the time.

The results in Texas with Governor Abbott defeating a weak candidate by only about a million votes should be alarming. That someone like Mr.O’Rourke could convince 3.5 millions voters to choose him is alarming. As the state becomes increasing secular the margins will narrow until the inevitable happens. What you are seeing is really an election between those who believe in God and those who don’t or pay lip service to Him. The Democrats can always bring abortion into any election and unfortunately they seem to have support for no restraint on it. Perhaps the legal framework is not the place to best deal with that issue. One could provide support and encouragement to save lives while leaving the final actions up to the couple and making sure the mother is kept safe. Not ideal, but maybe better than nothing?

The Republican Party was moribund until Donald Trump breathed life into it. He was like a “bull in a China shop,” who had no time for the political niceties of Washington, D.C. or of the GOP.
Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Liz Cheney, the Bush family, and others in the so-called elite became his enemies. He was moving at light speed, and ruffled feathers and vested interests far and wide.
He was an outsider who asked common sense questions and expected answers. Having rigged elections since 1960 when JFK, the Kennedys, the Democrats and Chicago crime boss Sam Giancana stole the election from Richard Nixon, the Democrats were pros at it.
Now, both the Democrats and the vested interests in the GOP are determined to destroy Donald Trump, and thwart his return to the presidency. And they will anoint Ron DeSantis if he will advance their efforts to achieve that goal.
The American people need to understand what is at stake here. The 1960 presidential election was rigged against Richard Nixon. When he won years later, they destroyed him with Watergate. They tried to destroy Ronald Reagan with Iran Contra. And since Donald and Melania Trump came down the escalator at Trump Tower in New York City to begin their quest for the presidency, their enemies have been determined and working feverishly — with their co-conspirators in the media — to destroy him.
They killed Abraham Lincoln because he defied established norms and freed the slaves. And now Trump . . .

Next, if he gets frustrated and upset at times, it’s understandable. Put yourself in his shoes, having been attacked since he began running for public office. And now, more of the same: endless attacks.
Lastly, it may be time to dump the GOP, not Trump who has given the party new life and a new burst of energy.
