Biden is embarrassing to watch.
The world is laughing at us for having such a moron and buffoon in the White House, instead of consigning him to a prison cell where he belongs. Straight to Guantanamo Bay with Hunter and other members of the Biden Family Crime Syndicate and their co-conspirators—including Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray—must be the hue and cry from every American regardless of political affiliation.
With few exceptions, the Republicans are just as pathetic as the evil Democrats, which is why lots of us became Independents years ago, and have never revisited that decision.[2] Chaos and divisions in America began with the racist and anti-Semite Barack Obama. Joe Biden was put in power by him, and is his disciple. The Biden presidency is Obama 2.0, or even worse.[3]. Like Meghan Markle and her husband Harry, both politicians are grifters who have become very rich without having worked in the private sector.
Washington is sick and the American people know it. The sickness didn’t begin recently. It has been true for a very long time. As I have written:
[T]he American people, God love them, are waking up bigtime to the mess that is Washington, D.C.—a corrupt, politically-polarized toxic city.[4]
The depth of this abyss can only be understood fully by those who have worked there at the highest levels, or have been its victims. But Americans know intuitively what is happening.
So much chaos, acrimony and suffering in the United States and globally. It’s as if the bowels of Hell have opened wide and sucked us in. Some of us see only negatives instead of the order and beauty that exist. As the Coronavirus pandemic has evolved, and as economic dislocations and disorder have reigned, some of us have fought hard to see the good in Life, and among our fellow beings.
Like avoiding an auto accident when we see an aggressive driver nearby, our instincts are to pull back and distance ourselves from the calamity that may develop, as the driver rushes headlong toward chaos. Will our actions be enough to avoid the tragedy if it should develop? Only time will tell. But if we read and write these words, we know that faith has brought us this far.[5]

He’s a pompous “bad guy,” who mouths platitudes but will be a drag on the GOP nationally.
Andy Biggs or others would be better, but McCarthy is using every power at his disposal to intimidate others.
He and Mitch McConnell are moral equivalents.

You are speaking to the choir! I see the same dishonorable behavior and frankly, America’s collective slumber has evidenced culpability at all levels of government and society at-large. Many voters were and still are apathetic. They simply choose to “let it happen”. We really lack the outstanding leaders we once had when we needed them. I can not help but think its divine Karma.
Ever since Roe v. Wade, an estimated 60 million abortions, sic. murders, have taken-place quietly in a doctor’s suburban examination rooms or in an outpatient setting. Actor Jack Nickleson’s mother was a single, unmarried waitress who got pregnant.
She was advised by “friends” to get an abortion, but decided against it. So, we enjoyed the great actor’s performance for many years at the movies. You can bet Jack Nickleson is no fan of abortion at all and has publically said so, with cause. How many potential future leaders were murdered because the parents viewed another child as “inconvenient” ? Answer: Millions. So, we actually do deserve what we are getting, in-spades. So far, little change in-heart re: abortions at the state level.
Bill O’Reilly echoes your sentiments here. He has repeatedly said President Biden is not enforcing immigration law. Bill repeatedly says that alone is a violation of the President’s Constitutional duties and oath of office. It is therefore grounds for an impeachment. Of course, its a circus because there is no possibility the U.S. Senate would ever convict and remove a sitting president regardless of the reasons. Historically, its a very rare occasion. Not going to happen.
So, if the voters wake-up by 2024, they must get involved or forever hold their peace. Stand-up or sit-down and be a serf forever. That IS a choice.
Pretty sure how the voters will respond, or about 50% of them anyway. 1/2 the voters of any party are disinterested and will not be watching the multitude of Congressional hearings and investigations for the next 2 years ( The Circus). They do not care and do not vote! So, realistically, at least in California, its hard to see any noticeable changes going forward..Cautiously optimistic.

A GRANDER PERSPECTIVE
I recognize there are political cycles, that is, a “swinging pendulum”. However, current social and political trends ( steadily declining believers in Christ, fewer and fewer Americans who attend any church, etc.) have been a work-in-progress for many decades. The cultural underpinnings of our key institutions are like the Parthenon Ruins in Athens, Greece. They have been either circumvented or destroyed from the inside and too often, includes our churches.
Some political scientists have determined our ongoing “cultural war” began in the early 1990’s. I would posit that at this juncture, its just one more rhetorical “war” among many since the 1950’s which we lost. Gary Morris is still correct, there will be a political reversal in 2024. It may seem like a bull market once again, for a time, as long as the bear market rally holds. Unfortunately the long term trend is still in-place.
This is exactly what happened during President Trumps single, 4 year term in-office. Trump won the battle but lost the “War”. The “system” won and it will prevail again later in this decade because Republicans don’t have the “fire in their belly” and they are too comfortable. The Grand Old Party has become the Party of Old Men, quite literally.
The American people will have to fight long and hard to regain the freedoms already compromised or lost outright. If not, they won’t remain free for even one more decade. To win back freedoms lost means fighting to win and using effective strategies that will prevail in a late-cycle Republic like we have. This means making sacrifices and doing it until we win back our freedoms. Its looking like “do or die” time. Americans must EARN back their freedoms in-full or forfeit them all eventually.
All it takes is an organized 33% of the total population to get the job done. The colonists won their freedom in 1776. Only 1/3 of all Americans supported the American Revolution, while 1/3 supported King George of England, and 1/3 did not care to get involved on either side. They were apathetic Little has changed. Human nature is always the same under similar circumstances.

I’ve come to expect spot on thinking whenever I read your articles. This one is no exception.
Here’s my take:
I agree that McCarthy will not provide the necessary leadership to help stop this onslaught against our nation by this corrupt administration. Why? Because McCarthy is just another insider, along the same lines as Paul Ryan, John Boehner, and Mitch McConnell. Like them, McCarthy is a tool for the establishment, which, in reality, controls the bulk of both political parties on all the major issues that effect the course of our nation.
While impeachment proceedings would be interesting, I would much rather see Conservatives in Congress (such as Ohio’s Jim Jordan’s Judicial Committee) do a deep dive on the corrupt election practices in the key battleground states. Congress has no control over how these states conduct their elections, but, I’d like to see their fraud exposed. Perhaps it would help invigorate true election reform (i.e., Voter IDs, ending mail in ballots, etc.) in these Democratically controlled states and counties?
Along these same lines, concerned friend of mine called today and said: “I hate to say this, but the only way the GOP will win any significant elections in those areas is to out cheat the Democrats.” That’s not the solution. We have to fight in order to restore integrity in out elections. If we don’t, we’ll continue further down this current path of being a despotic, third world hell hole.

Jim Jordan is a favorite of mine; and I hope he will be the Speaker in the future. My sense is that he will be a Tiger in the investigations, which will propel him into the Speaker’s job next.
Also, I agree with you that the “best of the GOP” must maintain the moral high ground.

Mr. Naegele’s blogs are among the few bright spots in my day anymore. I agree with his assessment of this country’s present political system. Our government has never been so polluted and I fear it may continue. As you may suspect, my faith in the U.S. political system is at an all-time low.
