Trump In 2024?

19 01 2023

  By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

Donald Trump has enemies galore—both foreign and domestic—some of whom would wish him dead.  Abraham Lincoln was killed by those who hated him; and the same was true of John F. Kennedy.  An assassin tried to kill Ronald Reagan; and it is not beyond the pale of reason to believe that an attempt might be made on Trump’s life.  After all, the FBI raided his home in Florida, while its Secret Service guards stood by and let it happen.[2]

Trump is the antithesis of everything that Joe Biden represents.  Biden embraces woke that is evil incarnate—beyond all reckoning—and a growing threat to our civilization.  Crime is unleashed; and it’s as though the lunatics are running the asylum.  Biden is corrupt and should be impeached and imprisoned, inter alia, having accumulated vast wealth illegally while being a public servant.  Trump was a businessman; and the attacks on him surely have dissuaded others in business from ever running for public offices.  Why expose their lives and families to nonstop scrutiny and vicious attacks?

Assuming Trump runs, he might pick former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as his running mate.[3]. Philosophically they seem to be in tune; and Pompeo might be a positive influence on Trump—at least in terms of losing weight and slimming down.  After all, having been attacked nonstop since he began running for the presidency, food can often be a psychological refuge for Trump.

Recent polling shows Trump crushing Florida’s fine Governor Ron DeSantis, who may have a very bright political future after a second Trump presidency ends.[4]  Biden’s mental acuity keeps declining—and “flat-lining”—and the scandals swirling about him may doom him before next year’s elections.  The economy alone may sink his little ship.[5]  The fate of our great country may turn on these developments, and how we and our friends and enemies respond to them.[6]
