What follows is a link to the Republican response to Joe Biden’s “State of the Union” speech, which is worth watching in its entirety:

WHO CAN PUT HUMPTY DUMPTY BACK TOGETHER AGAIN?
Republicans can easily rebut President Biden’s version of reality. His many lies are self-evident. Its so easy, like shooting fish in a barrel. In-fact, its what the Republican Party often does best: function as the Minority Party. What most Republicans do when in the majority is a different matter altogether. Republicans fail to govern, even when they have all 3 branches of government. Instead, they whine.
For example, They never tried to do “immigration reform” since the 1980’s, nor reform health care. In-fact, former Speaker Boehner once said: ” In 35 years, Republicans could never agree on even what health care should be”. So, they did noting and let President Obama and the Democrats do it instead. The rising costs of health care had to be dealt with.
Too bad the cost of health insurance actually increased with the passage of Obama Care, a.k.a. Affordable Health Care Act. – anything but “affordable”. Better get ready for (national) “Single Payer” health care because the next Democratic Administration is probably going to bring it on, while the Republicans do nothing to get ahead of it and “steal their thunder”. Remember too that in the critical swing states, fair and free elections last occurred in 2016. Nothing was done, as the Left outflanked the Right. Its all history now.
The American people want government to “do something” and the Left knows how to agitate the people to do their bidding. The public has proven to be quite malleable, after all. Remember the number the Democrats and the Media did on President Trump? Let them bask in their moment of glory dissing an incompetent president. President Biden has plenty of company. Who is going to do the same to all the incompetent voters who choose to put Biden in the White House? Nobody. Wait long enough and history might just repeat.
Surely, Biden’s career as a corrupt politician was all the track record that voters needed, but when it mattered most, nobody paid much attention. Now, we are doing overtime to compensate. The Republican presence in Blue states like California has permanently disappeared. They gave-up ( lost the cultural war ).
Nothing will improve while Joe Biden is President, nothing. All the commentary in the world won’t turn back the clock either. So, If you want good government, then better find a Blue State that has it already. Washington D.C. will never reform itself or change. The Federal government itself is too big to succeed and has itself become a failed state.

Thank you, Craig, for your thoughtful comments as always.
I agree with much that you say, but there are “heroes” in the GOP who may seize power and make needed changes.
I was interested to see Sanders praise Trump so much. I believe he will be the GOP nominee, and some may push for her to be his running mate.
She certainly knows the inner workings of the White House.
