America’s “Fake News”[2]—which buried the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 elections, and skewed the results—is trying to link Donald Trump’s opening rally of the 2024 election cycle in Waco, Texas to the Branch Davidian tragedy in 1993.[3] This is absurd.
First, most Americans have never heard of that religious cult, or what happened in Waco. Second, to the extent that Americans think of it at all, they may do so in terms of governmental abuse[4], which is rampant today. Third, if Americans think about Waco, Texas, it may be because of Chip and Joanna Gaines and their “Fixer Upper” TV show, and their Magnolia Network’s shows.[5] Also, Baylor University is nearby, which both of the Gaines attended.[6]
Joe Biden can barely utter two complete and coherent sentences; and he avoids our great country’s southern border like the plague. And not having visited our southern border either, despite the influx of millions of illegal aliens and criminals, it’s doubtful that Willie Brown’s former ho Kamala Harris can find Waco either. Both are ostensibly focused on another border; namely, the one in Ukraine, which may be a precursor of World War III—because of their ineptitude and treachery.[7]
Anyone who has never seen a Trump rally should watch this one; for example, on RSBN, which covers all of the Trump rallies, and is excellent.[8] There is a reason why he was elected as our President in 2016, and reelected in 2020 according to his supporters. And there is a reason why he leads in polling, despite the Left’s nonstop efforts to destroy him since he began his quest for the presidency in 2015. The enthusiasm of his supporters—of all colors, sexes and ethnicities—is unmatched by that of his opponents.

President Trump and his many MAGA fans are energetic without question. However, the Democrat Leftists in-power are cunning and unethical. All they care about is winning and spare the costs. The Deep State only cares about their respective agendas, but not necessarily the country or common good. Corruption at its finest.
We know the 2024 election votes in the Swing-States are going to probably be rigged against Trump once more should he again become the Republican nominee. A Trump/Desantis ticket might be the only path to the White House, but it’s a long shot at this juncture. A lot can happen in the next 18 months.
One up and coming possibility is Biden’s Banking Crisis morphing into a full blown financial collapse. It could happen and not just with U.S. Banks, but also with German and Italian Banks, as well. Banks are on pins and needles right now and are NOT allowing depositors to move large amounts ( even only $30,000) of money out of their account.
I know one individual who has had 5 of his bank accounts unilaterally closed in the past 5 months for just writing a check to another financial institution for $ 30K. Each time he wrote check, his next bank cancelled him with no reason given. They told him his account was frozen and cashed him out with a bank check 2 weeks later. He has one bank account left. His business generates $200,000 in annual cash-flow. Suspicious??
The Federal Reserve Bank is debuting a new digital payment system intended to replace ACH deposits, Bank Clearing House Checks, Bank Wires, and other forms of electronic or digital payments. It’s a centralization of all payments and money transfers.
The new payment system is called “FED NOW” and it will be released for a field test amongst a group of large banks on April 10. Once it’s up and running for awhile on a trial basis, it will become the ONLY means to pay debts, such as taxes or mortgages. All financial payments or transfers will only be done through the FED. Congress already authorized it.
My point is that it does not really matter who the next president is because “the ball has already started rolling”. Nothing the Republicans can do about the Banking Crisis or the coming CBDC either. In fact, it probably won’t even be a campaign topic except possibly to pledge that ordinary retail deposits will still remain insured up to the statutory limit of $250,000. 85% of all deposits are over this limit (uninsured), mostly business accounts.
The largest U.S. & European Banks are probably slated for defacto nationalization in the near future. Grossly under-capitalized in too many cases. Are bank shareholders the new “Bail-Ins” ?

If you and others watch Trump’s speech in full, you will realize that at the end of it, he outlined a comprehensive agenda of undoing everything Biden and his Democrats have done. It was very specific.

When he came to Washington, he did not know where all of the “bodies were buried.” He knows it now, and plans “revenge” in spades.
As for DeSantis, my guess is that Trump will pick someone else as his running mate. But we are months away from that decision.

The Politico/EU article that you cited is interesting. There is little doubt that the problems of the Great Recession were swept under the rug, not solved. Janet Yellen is as incompetent as Pete Buttigieg. As Chairperson of the Fed, she should have tightened down so things didn’t get out of control. Instead, Jerome Powell is left with that unenviable task, while Yellen is a joke in the Biden Administration.
Its “solution” is de facto insurance of all accounts — or certainly those of its biggest donors — which would remove market discipline. Hence, it would be a “free for all,” and potentially the “Great Depression II” would follow.

If Michelle Obama runs and happens to be elected President in 2024 then I would suggest she would be our last President. The country would not likely survive as a Constitutional Republic in that event.
