Terminate Every Congressional Democrat, Or Endure A Permanent Impeachment Process

And yes, lots of us began as Democrats but will never vote for one again.

In an article entitled “The Democrats’ Alternative Universe Impeachment,” the former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Newt Gingrich has written:

Watching recent developments in the House Democratic Party, it is clear that the effort to impeach President Trump has nothing to do with facts or a normal process of investigation and evidence-based prosecution.

We are living through a process defined by a pro-Trump universe and an anti-Trump universe. The great economy, record-low unemployment, the conservative judges, the achievements in renewing the Space program, and a host of other positive things are occurring in the pro-Trump universe.

However, the willful avoidance of facts and evidence by left-wing media and left-wing Democrats is a sign that there is an alternative anti-Trump universe.

The report by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz was devastating in its indictment of senior FBI officials – and even more in its repudiation of the lies being told by Democrat House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who is the public face of the impeachment effort. Again and again, Horowitz vindicated the former chairman, Republican Rep. Devin Nunes, and rejected Schiff’s assertions.

On Sunday, Chris Wallace made vividly clear with both former FBI Director James Comey and Chairman Schiff that they simply were not telling the truth. Every American should watch the Wallace interview.

Further, Schiff is not the only Democratic congressman with a big credibility gap. As Paul Sperry reported for RealClearInvestigations, House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler has some real explaining to do.

Sperry wrote that in February 2018, Nadler circulated a ‘Dear Democratic Colleague’ letter – later leaked to the press – that trashed a House Intelligence Committee report detailing FBI spying abuses involving former Trump campaign staffer Carter Page.

But Horowitz last week found the FBI did in fact abuse its authority.

Sperry also notes that “Nadler also insisted in his four-page letter … that a discredited Clinton campaign-funded [Christopher Steele] dossier did not play a substantial role in supporting warrants to spy on Page.”

Inspector General Horowitz found the opposite.

In his letter, Nadler implied that Nunes, was lying about what he had read in classified documents.

But the Horowitz report concurred with Nunes’s findings. In fact, one Republican committee staffer told Sperry that Nadler “has no credibility left.”

The failure of the secret Schiff kangaroo court hearings, combined with the growing repudiation by official inquiries, has convinced many Americans that the whole impeachment process is simply a scheme by Democrats, partisans, and fake news media members who hate President Trump.

In fact, the Horowitz report and other investigations make increasingly clear that The Washington Post, and The New York Times should return the Pulitzers their reporters received for the fake news they were being fed by the deep state opponents of President Trump.

As Lee Smith makes clear in his book The Plot Against the President, the systemic dishonesty of the deep state-fake media-Democratic Party system is deeper and more dishonest than anyone could have imagined a decade ago.

The Democrats’ problems aren’t just with their chairmen. Consider this new report by Chrissy Clark [] in The Federalist:

“Robert Powell, the husband of Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, D-Fla., reportedly took $700,000 from a Ukrainian oligarch named Igor Kolomoisky. Mucarsel-Powell sits on the House Judiciary Committee, the committee that drafted two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump for his alleged abuse of power with regards to Ukraine.”

Of course, in the Democrats’ alternative universe, having Hunter Biden accept millions from a Ukrainian company, or a Judiciary Committee member’s husband accepting $700,000 in Ukrainian oligarch funding, or an FBI senior manager’s wife getting nearly $700,000 in campaign funds from Clinton-aligned Democrats are simply business as usual. In the Democrats’ left-wing world, all bad things are Republican and conservative and no wrongdoing can be alleged against the deep state-fake news-Democrat alliance against President Trump.

The growing understanding of how sick the system is has turned more and more Americans against the Democratic Party’s impeachment campaign. In a remarkable turn of events people actually believe the process may strengthen President Trump. This is literally making fake news analysts’ heads hurt.

Steve Krakauer in the Fourth Watch media newsletter wrote that a recent CNN poll found that only 25 percent Americans think the impeachment circus will hurt President Trump’s re-election campaign. Meanwhile 37 percent think it will have no effect and 32 percent believe it will help him get re-elected.

According to Krakauer: “When David Chalian reported this to Anderson Cooper tonight on AC360, Cooper was stunned. ‘This poll hurts my head,’ said Cooper. ‘I mean, David, do you believe these polls?’

With the current impeachment process having lost ground with the American people – and with the Republican Senate certain to sustain the President and reject the dishonest hypocrisy of the House Democrats – what can we expect in this world of an alternative, anti-Trump universe?

The answer is apparently a permanent impeachment process – no matter what the American people want or what the evidence or lack of evidence indicates.

Consider this report from Politico:

“In a filing to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, House General Counsel Douglas Letter argued that the House’s demands for grand jury materials connected to former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation were still urgent because such evidence might become relevant to the Senate’s expected impeachment trial next month.

“But Letter went further to note that even apart from the Senate trial, the House Judiciary Committee intends to continue its impeachment investigation arising from the Mueller probe on its own merit.

“‘The committee has continued and will continue [its impeachment] investigations consistent with its own prior statements respecting their importance and purposes,’ Letter wrote in a filing Monday as part of the House’s bid to obtain Mueller’s grand jury evidence.”

In other words, the Democrats are already laying the ground for yet another impeachment effort once this one fails.

The 2020 campaign is going to be a tale of two vividly different universes.

Which one the American people decide is better for themselves and their country will do a great deal to define the next century of American progress – or decay.[2]

Again, Congressional Democrats must not only be defeated but crushed, in elections across this great nation.  The despicable Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler must become the Joe McCarthys of this era: pariahs who are ridiculed and driven to shame and obscurity.

Next, Americans must turn their attention to imprisoning the racist anti-Semite Barack Obama and his fellow treasonous co-conspirators for the rest of their lives, at the very least.[3]

Nothing less will suffice!

Is Impeachment Backfiring On The Democrats? [UPDATED]

The title of this article is the conclusion of Pat Buchanan—an adviser to Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Gerald Ford, and a former GOP presidential aspirant himself—who has written:

“We’re gonna impeach the (expletive deleted).”

Thus did the member from Michigan, Rashida Tlaib, declare last January to be the goal of the 2019 House Democratic Caucus.

Wednesday night, Speaker Nancy Pelosi delivered the goods.

The House impeached President Donald Trump on a straight party-line vote. Not one Republican signed on to the most partisan impeachment in U.S. history.

Yet, as we head for trial in the Senate, Democrats seem to be having nervous second thoughts over what they have done.

Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called for the Senate to subpoena four new witnesses the House never heard. Nancy Pelosi signaled Wednesday night that she might not send over to the Senate the articles of impeachment the House had just approved.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell took to the floor both Wednesday night and Thursday morning. To have the Senate, which is judge and jury of the impeachment charges, to start calling witnesses whom House prosecutors failed to pursue “could set a nightmarish precedent.”

Said McConnell, Schumer “would apparently like our chamber to do House Democrats’ homework for them.”

Schumer’s plea for new witnesses is an admission that the House’s case for impeaching Trump is inadequate and deficient and could prove wholly noncredible to the American people. After all, if you need more witnesses, you probably do not have the smoking gun.

The message sent by Pelosi’s call for more time before the trial, and Schumer’s call for more witnesses, is one of fear that not only could the House’s case for impeachment fail, it could be laughed out of the Senate. And the American people might be fine with that.

The Democratic Party has bet the ranch on the impeachment and removal of Trump for imperiling our “national security.” But are Schumer and Pelosi behaving as though the republic is in mortal peril?

Schumer’s call for new witnesses also underscores the thinness of Article I of the impeachment, Trump’s alleged “Abuse of Power.”

Beneath Article I, there is not a single crime listed — no treason, no bribery, no extortion, no high crimes.

What kind of impeachment is this, with not one crime from the list the Founding Fathers designated as impeachable acts?

Why did the Democratic House not impeach Trump for conspiring with Russia to steal the 2016 election? Answer: The House could no more prove this charge than could Robert Mueller after two years.

Other events are breaking Trump’s way.

The James Comey-FBI investigation Mueller inherited has begun to take on the aspect of a “deep state” conspiracy.

According to the Justice Department’s IG Michael Horowitz, the FISA court warrants used to justify FBI spying were the products not only of incompetence but also of mendacity and possible criminality.

The “essential” evidence use by the FBI to get the FISA judge to approve warrants for surveillance was the Steele dossier.

An ex-British spy, Christopher Steele was working in mid-2016 for a dirt-diving operation hired by the DNC and Clinton campaign to go after Trump. His altarpiece, the dossier, we learn from Horowitz, was a farrago of fabrications, rumors and lies fed to Steele by a Russian “sub-source.”

In the four FBI submissions to the FISA courts for warrants to spy on Carter Page, there were “at least 17 significant errors or omissions.”

And all 17 went against Team Trump.

Moreover, the discrediting of the Comey investigation has just begun. U.S. Attorney John Durham will report this spring or summer on his deeper and wider investigation into its roots.

As IG of Justice, Horowitz’s investigation was confined to his department and the FBI. But Durham is looking into the involvement of U.S. and foreign intelligence in the first days of the FBI investigation.

Attorney General Bill Barr and Durham have both said that they do not share Horowitz’s view that there was no political bias at the beginning of the investigation of the Trump campaign. Durham’s writ is far wider than Horowitz’s and he has the power to impanel grand juries and bring criminal indictments.

Among the fields Durham is plowing are reports that agents and assets of the FBI and CIA may have “set up” Trump foreign policy aide George Papadopoulos. Possible purpose: to feed him intel about Russia having dirt on Hillary Clinton, and then entrap him, put him in legal jeopardy, and turn him into an investigative instrument to be used against Trump.

With the Horowitz report confirming what the Trumpers have been reporting and saying about Comey’s investigation for years, and the newly proven manipulation of the FISA courts, the media hooting about “right-wing conspiracy theories” seems to have been toned down.

Carter Page, once considered a dupe of the Russians, is now seen as a patriot who assisted his country’s intelligence services only to be made a victim of injustice who saw his civil rights be trampled upon by his own government.

The cards appear to be falling Trump’s way.

Brennan hand over his private emails and call logs to find out what he told Comey and his thoughts on the Steele dossier“)

Let’s hope and pray that Pat is correct.

The Democrats Have Sewn A Whirlwind, And In 2020 They Will Begin To Reap It [UPDATED]

In an article entitled “The Crisis of the American System,” the former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Newt Gingrich has written:

On Wednesday 230 Democratic House members decided to repudiate the 304 electors who chose Donald Trump to be president.

Another way to think of it is that 230 House Democrats felt they had more of a right to decide who should be president than the 62,979,636 Americans who voted for President Trump. Apparently, in the Speaker Pelosi caucus, they thought each Democratic Congressman outweighed 273,824 Americans who voted for Trump. After all their nominee told them Trump voters were “deplorable.”

The Left wants to forget that President Trump actually won the Electoral College in a landslide, 304 to 227 for Hillary Clinton.

The Left prefers to emphasize that Secretary Clinton won the popular vote, but they always ignore the reality that outside of California President Trump had a 1,405,004 vote majority. So in 49 states, including all those in which they both competed, Trump got a majority. Only the huge margin in California, where Trump did not campaign, gave Clinton her claim to a majority.

In fact, there is every reason to believe that had popular vote been the key to victory, Trump would have campaigned in California and cut into Hillary’s margin.

Ironically, Donald Trump, the amateur in his first race, understood that under our Constitution winning the Electoral College was decisive and the popular vote was irrelevant. Secretary Clinton, who had been in politics her entire adult life, apparently forgot the Constitution’s emphasis on the Electoral College rather than the popular vote.

We now know that people began writing and talking about impeaching candidate Trump as early as April 2016, months before he won the election and was inaugurated.

If you look at the number of Democrats who were for impeaching President Trump before anyone knew anything about a Ukrainian phone call you know that impeachment was an event waiting for an excuse. The Ukrainian phone call did not lead to the impeachment movement. The impeachment movement had been looking for an excuse, and when Mueller’s Report collapsed without finding President Trump guilty of anything, the impeachers desperately looked for something they could use.

The impeachers found the Ukrainian phone call, the call did not find the impeachers.

The most sobering aspect of all this is the profound level of corruption, arrogance, and dishonesty which has infected the national establishment in general and the deep state, in particular.

This extraordinarily painful process for President Trump and his family may, in fact, be the beginning of a national exposure of dishonesty and corruption on a scale none of us would have thought possible.

The combination of Inspector General Horowitz’s report on malfeasance in the FBI; the fact that the report shows conclusively that Devin Nunes, the Republican House Intelligence Chairman told the truth and his successor, Adam Schiff consistently lied; Lee Smith’s book The Plot Against the President, written with the help of the House Intelligence Committee Republicans; the clear linkage of the establishment news media to the most dishonest and in many cases law-breaking elements of the deep state; the reports on over a decade of dishonesty from our government about the state of the conflict in Afghanistan; and the Federal Communications Commission report that major telephone companies lied about the amount of mobile coverage they provided rural America — again and again we are seeing the breakdown of the American system in ways that amount to a crisis of the entire establishment structure.

As the Democrats’ fake impeachment process further weakens both their own credibility and the credibility of the fake news media, the Left will have less and less ability to defend itself.

As the average American grows disgusted with feces in the streets of our major cities, schools that cannot prepare students to pass basic exams, communist district attorneys who believe they can pick and choose which laws to enforce and which lawbreakers to prosecute, the energy behind the rise of Trumpism is going to continue to grow.

The thousands in Michigan cheering the President were vastly more real and more important than the 230 Democratic House members Speaker Pelosi was lecturing to pretend to be solemn and not celebrate.

The Democrats have sewn the whirlwind, and in 2020 they will begin to reap it.

The Democrats—who brought America slavery, and perpetuated it and segregation (which continues to this day in terms of economic segregation), and who kept anti-Semitism alive when it should have died (e.g., the father of today’s Democrats, Franklin D. Roosevelt, turned away the MS St Louis and refused to let its Jewish passengers disembark at American ports, thereby sending them back to their fates in Nazi-controlled Europe, and other anti-Semites in FDR’s administration knew of Hitler’s death camps and trains yet did nothing)—need to face a whirlwind the likes of which they have never seen before.

And yes, lots of us began as Democrats, but will never vote for one again. They are hated, and understandably so.

ALL POLITICS IS BREAD & CIRCUSES

I don’t know what the future of other regions and states might be, but I know my own (native) State of Calif. and the fact its population has 3X in the 1950-2000 time frame. The idea “all politics is local” is particularly relevant here, as President Trump, except for Tax Reform, has barely moved the needle for so-many Californians ( Sanctuary State, etc.) Just Saying. Impeachment Lite brought to you by the House is just a pointless side-show to me. Life goes-on around here as it always has, and will.

Actually, Calif. first began receiving early (birds) in-migrants from other States back in the early 1920’s: My grandmothers were from Maine and Colorado, Grandfathers from Mexico and Colorado. As an Anglo Native, I can remember a far less congested state with lower taxes and housing costs compared to today. Except for “skid row” in downtown L.A. not so much chronic homelessness either. Far lower. California is saturated (overpopulated), pure and simple. Its NOT a Federal issue so much at all. Regional yes. Local, Yes. Federal, not so much.

Same political developments happened to the City of Rome, namely growing corruption and ever higher taxes. First, a bit of history, as we may be in the process of unwittingly repeating. Its a slow-moving train but its still in-progress in Calif. nevertheless. California had NO net population gain in the past two years, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Current state population is still the same 39.6 Million residents as a year ago. However, the urban homeless population in California keeps increasing every year. No safety net. Wake-Up People !! The so-called “pendulum” has begun to swing and people are leaving (voting with their feet). Many are headed for “Red” states, not blue ones. Its now a Red vs. Blue Union, if we can keep it united. If not, its a contemporary civil war. Regardless, changes of all kinds coming soon.

Thank you, Craig, as always.

California is a wonderful state in so many ways, and the state where I was born and raised, a mile west of the UCLA campus in Westwood.

Physically its beauty is unsurpassed nationwide and worldwide. Politically it is a basket case, which has produced the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, and the despicable Adam Schiff who appears to be (along with his Krispy Kreme cohort, Jerry Nadler) a reincarnation of Joe McCarthy.

Yes the populatuon is not growing, as many leave; homelessness has reached epidemic proportions in San Francisco and Los Angeles; and the state’s most prominent eco-Nazis such as Julie Packard of the Monterey Bay Aquarium are pushing bans on straws instead of addressing major environmental issues such as the gyres of marine debris in our oceans, which are the size of Texas and other states.

Is California hopeless? No, I don’t believe so, but its problems are monumental and the solutions are illusory.

See, e.g., https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2019-12-21/california-population-continues-to-decline-with-state-emigration-a-major-factor (“California population growth slowest since 1900 as residents leave, immigration decelerates”) and https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2015/11/30/a-34-trillion-swindle-the-shame-of-global-warming/#comment-16288 (“Predictably The Eco-Nazis Ignore The World’s 100 Most Polluted Cities”)
