If Coronavirus Mutations Come Roaring Back, Will Americans Listen—Much Less Survive?

Americans are angry.  Brits are angry.  Others around the world are angry that the deadly Coronavirus pandemic has disrupted their lives and killed their loved ones and friends, and hurt so many others physically, psychologically and economically.[2]

By nature, Americans are not a patient people, and they rebel when rules are shoved down their throats, much less rules that they deem unfair and unjust.  They take umbrage at authority, especially when they deem it to be wielded unjustly.

For example, the G7 just concluded its meetings at the Tregenna Castle Resort in Cornwall on the west coast of Britain.[3]  There was no social distancing or the wearing of masks by the leaders of the nations that were represented.  Yet, the “Delta variant” or mutation of the Coronavirus is emerging, which may kill or hurt even more globally.

Lots of Americans have been vaccinated.  Now they are being told that such vaccinations may not be enough to shield them from the mutations, and that more vaccinations and lockdowns and rules may be required.  Still others refused be be vaccinated from Day One, and they are effectively saying: “I told you so.”

Americans are traveling again with a vengeance, and releasing pent-up frustrations and anger.  What will happen if the “Delta variant” or some other mutation bites, and bites big time?  Like the ancient Fable about “The Boy Who Cried Wolf,” will Americans even listen?[4]  And this is true regardless of one’s color, ethnicity, religion or political affiliation.

China unleashed the Coronavirus, either inadvertently or as a bioweapon; and since then, it has spread worldwide with devastating effects, which have not run their course.  China’s Communist rulers seek global domination by the end of this decade; and the destruction of the United States—and its political, social and economic fabric—is part of their strategy.[5]

Lastly, missing from Xi Jinping’s and Mao Tse-tung’s China and Vladimir Putin’s Russia and Joseph Stalin’s Soviet Union and so many other totalitarian regimes is a belief and trust in God.  The forces of evil in the world today share that one common thread—which is the polar opposite of what undergirds and has defined the United States and its people.[6]
