Let’s Hope And Pray That Donald Trump Is Not Assassinated

20 06 2024

By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

Sound farfetched? It isn’t. The Democrats are trying to “crucify” him in every way imaginable.[2] And yes, lots of us began as Democrats, but will never vote for one again.

If it happened, no Democrat’s life would be worth a plug nickel. There would be open warfare against every Democrat in America; and there would be no way—or desire—to protect them. Law enforcement would step aside and let it happen. This is especially true of elected officials, who cannot be protected now.[3]

The Democrats are evil beyond all reckoning. They have torn apart our great nation, in too many ways to count. Our White House is occupied and defiled by a “cadaver,” and our enemies know it. Yet, the Democrats keep on doing it. Their prosecutors and judges are the very worst and most biased in our lifetimes.

And yes, they are fueling the flames of America’s second Civil War, which may be as devastating as the last one. Abraham Lincoln, William McKinley and John F. Kennedy were assassinated. Only the presidency of Ulysses S. Grant saved the nation from fragmenting after Lincoln was killed.[4]

Also, no American should ever forget that the Republicans saved the nation from the racist Democrats. They gave us the KKK, segregation and Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” programs, which tore apart African-American families and consigned them to economic servitude. They and Hispanic-Americans know how our system of “justice” has been rigged and used against them, which is why they have been supporting Donald Trump in rising numbers.

The influx of approximately 15 million illegal aliens has savaged those families at or near the bottom of the economic totem pole. Throw in gangs like MS-13, and the influx of killer drugs like Fentanyl—and human trafficking and organ harvesting[5]—and our minorities are savvy beyond all reckoning.

They are on the “front lines,” and they see illegal aliens arriving in America and given preferential treatment. Justifiably they are angry, as are Trump’s MAGA supporters, many of whom are former Democrats who have deserted that party. One spark may ignite an inferno that knows no limits—like our last Civil War. Shock and sadness might morph into rage.

[3]  The counter-argument, of course, would be that the nation and the world would be in such a state of shock that the killer and that person’s motivation would be in question.  This is especially true since America’s media is controlled by the Left, which would “slant” the facts and narrative.

Indeed, it has been said that Robert F. Kennedy refused to testify before the Warren Commision about his brother’s assassination because he believed it was a “government hit,” perpetrated by the Mafia.

History is replete with the decapitation of world leaders, with Julius Caesar being the classic example.  Japan’s Shinzo Abe is the latest occurrence.  See, e.g., https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassination_of_Shinzo_Abe (“Assassination of Shinzo Abe”)

America Is A Nation Of Haves And Have-Nots

15 06 2024

By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

Lots of Americans are struggling to make ends meet—and not making it. The Covid pandemic affected businesses, and produced delayed effects in many cases. They are collapsing now; Americans are losing their jobs; and there is a ripple effect in our economy, as homelessness increases.[2]

For others, they have seen the prices of their homes soar to stratospheric levels, especially in the privileged enclaves of the rich and famous. For example, on the fabled Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, the road is clogged in early afternoons, as workers stream east from fancy homes in Brentwood, Pacific Palisades and Malibu.

This is true in Santa Barbara too, as workers travel south on Highway 101, having served their “masters” in Montecito, Hope Ranch and other neighborhoods. And in Silicon Valley and other wealthy areas, workers with even decent wages live in aging campers because they can’t afford the cost of housing.

Throw in the increase of crime and drug usage, and incendiary living conditions exist, certainly for young children.[3] And California is by no means unique or emblematic of this decline. Our cities have become crime- and drug-infested to such an extent that Americans are wise to avoid them like the plague.

This is especially true where officials are “soft on crime,” and demand that criminals be given a slap on their wrists at most. Repeat offenders are released routinely to commit crimes again and again; and the spiral of lawlessness continues unabated. It is not surprising that many Americans are fleeing to law-and-order states and areas of the country, to live and raise their kids.

For senior citizens in their twilight years, these issues are especially acute. Many cannot afford the necessities of life; and are considered burdens by their offspring, who would abandon them without a twinge of conscience or guilt, despite everything that such seniors did for them. Elder abuse is a fact of life in America today.[4]

Are We Prepared For World War III?

8 06 2024

  By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

It may be a multi-front war like World War II: in Europe, the Middle East, the Pacific, in our hemisphere, and globally.  Our enemies include Vladimir Putin’s Russia, Xi Jinping’s China, and Kim Jong-un’s North Korea; and arguably, they are at the top of their game.

Would such a war be over in an instant because of a nation-ending EMP Attack or similar event?[2]  Will we even have time to rebuild our military forces?  Will we have national leadership like Franklin D. Roosevelt provided?  Will we or our loved ones—both men and women—be drafted into service and become cannon fodder?

Are we prepared at all, both mentally and militarily, for a multi-front and multi-faceted war?[3]. Clearly, we have a brain-addled buffoon in the White House, who is the laughingstock of the world.[4]

Tragically, our enemies are superb “chess masters,” who might be moving against us while Joe Biden and his Vice President—Kamala Harris, the cackling former ho of California’s Willie Brown—are still officially in office.[5]

Arguably, we are in the midst of World War III already, as our military involvement and that of our NATO allies increases in Ukraine, and as something similar is true in the Middle East.  And we have been aiding those in Taiwan who are arrayed against China’s might.

D-Day

6 06 2024

  By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

Today is the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the Allied landings on the beaches of Normandy in France, which turned the tide of World War II in Europe. It was the beginning of the end of Adolf Hitler’s “Third Reich,” and if they had not occurred—with the horrendous loss of American and other lives—the world might be very different today.

The UK may have fallen; America might have been attacked with rockets that Wernher von Braun and other German scientists were developing[2]; and the peace and prosperity that ensued after the fall of Germany and Japan might not have occurred.[3]  We can only conjecture how different the world would be now.

One thing is certain: we owe an enormous debt of gratitude to the intelligence and courage of those who made D-Day happen, not the least of whom was our future President Dwight D. Eisenhower.  He and his staff planned the invasion meticulously; and he made the crucial decision that it was a “go,” as inclement weather bore down on the English Channel, which had to be crossed.[4]

Except for tourists, the battlefields of Normandy are quiet now.  However, we must never forget what the brave Americans and other allies did that day.  Many are resting there.

He that is without sin

3 06 2024

By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

Many Americans and those of other countries may question why Donald Trump was “cavorting” with a porn actress named Stormy Daniels[2], especially when his wife Melania had just given birth to their son Barron. Trump denied that the liaison ever occurred, but for sake of discussion let’s assume it did happen. Why would any man (or woman) run the risk of getting STDs[3] from anyone—much less a bimbo?

Jesus’ words in the Bible about a woman accused of adultery are relevant:

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.[4]

The morality in Hollywood and Washington, D.C.—and other power centers of the world—approaches that of Sodom and Gomorrah.[5] Whether the fugitive from American justice Roman Polanski is cited, or the serial abusers Harvey Weinstein or Bill Cosby or Jeffrey Epstein, any sense of morality does not exist. The same thing was true of John F. Kennedy.[6]

Will voters this November be dissuaded from voting for Trump because of what the New York jury decided? What about Joe Biden’s morality and that of his son Hunter and other members of the “Biden Family Crime Syndicate”? Jesus’ words echo down through the ages; and let’s hope they govern this political contest.[7]

It would be nice if all of us were saints, but we aren’t. Only God is perfect.

Are We Destined To Become A Nation Of Nihilists?

1 06 2024

By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

It would seem that we are perilously close. By definition, a Nihilist is someone who believes life is meaningless, and rejects all religious and moral principles. Perhaps the realization that none of us will get out of this life alive[2], and the toll that the Covid pandemic took on religious observances, moved us in this direction.

The divisions created by the Left’s almost-one-decade-long efforts to destroy Donald Trump and his supporters have contributed mightily to this malaise.[3] Needless to say, if Americans have given up on their country’s future—and by implication, their future—the ramifications will be staggering.

Only in the Vietnam War era was this true in recent history. And before that, perhaps the events leading up to our Civil War almost 170 years ago were similar. Presumably our enemies are salivating. Why expend monumental efforts and resources to defeat or destroy us when we are crumbling from within, so the logic goes.

Are we destined to become little more than a “Banana Republic,” and recede into the dark crevices of human history—with this having occurred during the course of our lifetimes? And did this process accelerate when the Covid pandemic found its way from China to our shores? And when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris began spending time in our White House?

Will God save us from such a fate?
