Should Barack Obama Be Executed For Treason?

Lou Dobbs—an American television personality, author, radio host, and anchor of “Lou Dobbs Tonight” on the Fox Business Network—has described the multiplicity of crimes committed by the presidential administration of Barack Obama, or “Obamagate,” as the “biggest political scandal in American history.” There is every reason to believe that this is true.

They involve massive crimes by former Secretary of State and defeated presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, including but not limited to the payment of approximately $145 million to former President Bill Clinton and her and their foundation, in exchange for the sale of 20 percent of America’s critical Uranium assets to Russia’s despotic killer, Vladimir Putin.[2]

Also, they include efforts by Obama officials to defeat the presidential candidacy of Donald Trump; and once he was elected, efforts to undermine and ultimately destroy his presidency. Those involved include former Attorneys General Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch; Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and former Deputy AG Sally Yates; former FBI Directors Robert Mueller and James Comey; former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper; former CIA Director John Brennan; former National Security Advisor Susan Rice; former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe; and Senior Advisor to Obama, Valerie Jarrett.[3]

The assertion of treason is a very serious charge, which must not be thrown around lightly or irresponsibly, much less involving at least one former president, Barack Obama—and possibly two, if Bill Clinton’s crimes are included. Indeed, Clinton is only the second American president to be impeached, after Andrew Johnson in 1868.[4]

As I have written with respect to Mueller, after discussing the legal bases for treason:

Mueller and his co-conspirators have given aid and comfort to our enemies by trying to bring down the duly-elected presidency of Donald Trump.

The DOJ and FBI corrupted an American election, and the wrongdoers must be brought to justice. To make certain that it never happens again, an example must be made of Mueller, not dissimilar to that of Benito Mussolini in Italy during World War II. He must be prosecuted for treason and other crimes, convicted, and executed—to send the message of “Never Again” far and wide.[5]

It is doubtful that any of the last administration’s treasonous actions would have taken place without Barack Obama knowing about them, and approving them. Indeed, evidence is emerging that he knew and approved of such treasonous acts against Donald Trump, both before and after the election of 2016. If so, what should his punishment be? Should it be any less severe than that applied to Mueller, who was one of his operatives and co-conspirators?

It is probably fair to conclude that Obama may wish that he had never met the Clintons, much less “crawled into bed” with them, in terms of their criminal behavior stretching back over decades (e.g., Bill Clinton’s rape of women).[6] But Obama had a choice. And when he unleashed and/or blessed actions to undermine and destroy the candidacy and presidency of Donald Trump, he became complicit. And if our Constitution, republic and democracy are to have lasting value, he too must pay the ultimate price.

For those Americans who believed in the candidacy and presidency of Obama—and certainly those who voted for him not once but twice—any assertions of his culpability are met with animus, which is understandable. Yet, most Americans have never read his book, “Dreams from My Father,” which sets out his anger, racial beliefs, and impressions of the United States and its future in great detail:

Because of his looks and not his parentage or lineage, he made a conscious decision to be black. Once he made it, he seemed to put the white world behind him and to identify with the “victimization” of blacks. For example, he writes: “[T]o admit our doubt and confusion to whites, to open up our psyches to general examination by those who had caused so much of the damage in the first place, seemed ludicrous, itself an expression of self-hatred—for there seemed no reason to expect that whites would look at our private struggles as a mirror into their own souls, rather than yet more evidence of black pathology.”

The transformation seems to have started when young “Barry” Obama returned to Hawaii from Indonesia, where he had been living with his mother and her second husband, to live with her parents and enroll at Honolulu’s elite, ethnically and culturally diverse Punahou School—where his sense that he “didn’t belong continued to grow.”

Still at Punahou, he would recall: “[T]he only thing you could choose as your own was withdrawal into a smaller and smaller coil of rage, until being black meant only the knowledge of your own powerlessness, of your own defeat. And the final irony: Should you refuse this defeat and lash out at your captors, they would have a name for that, too, a name that could cage you just as good. Paranoid. Militant. Violent. Nigger.”

Is that the anger he “inherited” from his Kenyan father with multiple wives, who was a stern disciplinarian and loved him so much that the father spent only one month of his life with young Barry when he was 10 years old, and effectively abandoned him the rest of the time?

Leaving a theater in New York with his mother and half-sister Maya, he observed: “The emotions between the races could never be pure. . . . Whether we sought out our demons or salvation, the other race would always remain just that: menacing, alien, and apart.” Later, in writing about his times in Chicago and the stories he had heard from the black leadership, Obama says: “They had arisen out of a very particular experience with hate. That hate hadn’t gone away; it formed a counternarrative buried deep within each person and at the center of which stood white people—some cruel, some ignorant, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives.”

In discussing the difficulties facing black businesses, he mentions “the leg up that your [white] competitors possessed after having kept you out of the game for over three hundred years”—again, the issue of black victimization.

[T]he book evidences few significant accomplishments as a “community organizer.” Indeed, he writes: “When classmates in college asked me just what it was that a community organizer did, I couldn’t answer them directly. Instead, I’d pronounce on the need for change. Change in the White House, where Reagan and his minions were carrying on their dirty deeds. Change in the Congress, compliant and corrupt.”

Former Senator Edward W. Brooke, the first black U.S. Senator since Reconstruction, . . . did not try to change America because of any deep-seated hatred of whites or our capitalist system. After reading “Dreams from My Father,” most Americans will have few if any doubts why Obama associated with and befriended Weather Underground co-founder Bill Ayers and Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Their radical views seem consistent with his.

Also, he came face to face with the realities of his father as a man: “It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa, that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself. . . . Now, . . . that image had suddenly vanished. Replaced by . . . what? A bitter drunk? An abusive husband? A defeated, lonely bureaucrat? To think that all my life I had been wrestling with nothing more than a ghost! . . . Whatever I do, it seems, I won’t do much worse than he did.”

En route to Kenya, he referred to himself as “a Westerner not entirely at home in the West, an African on his way to a land full of strangers.” He grew up in Hawaii, Indonesia and then Hawaii again, which are hardly the “heartland” of America, so his experiences were different than those of most Americans.

In Kenya, his alienation is reflected once again when he characterizes other tourists as expressing “a confidence reserved for those born into imperial cultures.” Also, throughout the book, he expresses his intense dislike for “colonialism,” which is perhaps summarized by his thoughts as he rides a train and imagines how a British officer might have felt on its maiden voyage: “Would he have felt a sense of triumph, a confidence that the guiding light of Western civilization had finally penetrated the African darkness? Or did he feel a sense of foreboding, a sudden realization that the entire enterprise was an act of folly, that this land and its people would outlast imperial dreams?”[7]

To say that the United States elected an un-American black racist as its president is not to miss the mark. Most Americans knew little or nothing about him when he was elected.

In my article, I asked:

In the final analysis, will he be viewed as a fad and a feckless naïf, and a tragic Shakespearean figure who is forgotten and consigned to the dustheap of history? Will his naïveté have been matched by his overarching narcissism, and will he be considered more starry-eyed and “dangerous” than Jimmy Carter? Will his presidency be considered a sad watershed in history? Or will he succeed and prove his detractors wrong, and be viewed as the “anointed one” and a true political “messiah”? Even Abraham Lincoln was never accorded such accolades, much less during his lifetime. And Barack Obama’s core beliefs are light years away from those of Ronald Reagan.

Obama’s legacy is that of unprecedented and unbridled racism and, yes, hatred for America; and a willingness to ignore and scoff at our laws including the Constitution, and to far surpass the worst that Richard Nixon was ever accused of doing by his detractors during the Watergate scandal. Obama learned how to manipulate the powers of the presidency, and to abuse them beyond all recognition. He is a tragic Shakespearean figure who must be remembered for his treasonous conduct above all else. His presidency was and is a sad watershed in American history. He was far more dangerous and damaging to our great nation than any other U.S. leader—or traitor.[8]

WHO DONE IT ?

A majority of American voters elected President Barack Obama ( First Black President in History of U.S.A.). What then were the implications of his election, and by inclusion, His sidekick, Hillary R. Clinton ? Some maintain President Barack Obama “did not Do anything”. ( Not doing something is practically just the same as a “no answer”- a purposeful response in all instances. A “no action” is in itself an action if not by omission.

Well anyway, most of us know plenty of not so good things still happened both at home and overseas during the Obama Presidency. The list is pretty long, too long for me to want to enumerate in any detail here. Whether any president could have prevented them or avoided them in-part is a theoretical (political) argument at this juncture. Former Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney was an unpopular political novice with no real election experience going up against an experienced and capable incumbent politician and his Team. So, was the election of 2012 a fair match ? Obviously not.

So, who get’s the blame for all the occurrences during President Obama’s watch? The responsibility for the election outcomes and results during this period fall squarely upon the shoulders of ALL adult Americans who voted and those who choose not to vote, as well. Thus, all Americans are equally culpable. Many will disagree, but who else can be blamed ? Certainly not the Russians or the North Koreans.

We need to first look in the mirror at home to see the true answer here. Most Americans ( Middle Class) are passive and complacent, having been bought-off with inexpensive food and circuses. Nobody much pays attention or really cares enough to do something about it. We all lead “busy” lives.

Until we (all) accept this one simple fact, little real change is possible in the long run. So far, no dice. The Trump years will quickly pass away and many will still be struggling with even more debt and taxes to pay for our collective unwillingness to face the truth. Who will we blame then (next) ?

First, the co-conspirators must pay like never before, starting with Barack Obama, Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein.

Second, hopefully eight years of a Trump presidency will go a long way toward draining the swamp, permanently.

Third, when this scandal is exposed in its entirety, and the co-conspirators are brought to justice, hopefully the signal sent throughout government is “Never Again” . . . and the fear of God is sent through the wrongdoers and those who might be tempted to follow a similar path.

Obama is not finished. His plan has not been revealed to any but his fellow conspirators. Prior to the 2016 election the Obama “Team” had perfected its Voter Fraud “Machine” and solidified the 2016 election results for Hillary. Because the press (and seemingly everybody else) laughed loudly at the possibility of Trump winning the election, panic set it at Democrat headquarters. If they “pulled the trigger” and opened the spigot of votes for Hillary, the resultant flood of Votes for HRC would show impossible numbers that would reveal the “Silent Democrat Voting System.” That one oversight would endanger all successive Democrat support of Democrat candidates forever. Democrats thought there was no need to jeopardize their “secret sauce.” Trump would lose by a huge margin anyway so why bring out the cannon to kill the fly and let everybody see our secret? Then they saw that Trump was winning. It was too late to “pull the trigger.” It was over. But some idiot tried desperately to recover at the last second and opened the cannon. For weeks AFTER the election was over Hillary’s count rose by almost 250,000 votes per week. The claim was that Hillary won the popular vote by three million votes. NOBODY pointed out that those votes were AFTER the polls closed. Actual professional research and analysis showed that the spread between the two candidates claimed to be three million for Hillary was actually “a wash.”

This was a killer for Obama. He and Hillary were going to change places every four or eight years and Democrats were going to rule forever. Elections were planned to be eliminated and any dissatisfaction with the Constition were going to be eliminated. But because somebody dropped the ball and didn’t pull the trigger (guess who), TRUMP HAPPENED.

But why? People talk about ideologies being the arguable determining factor. The days of The Round Table are long-gone. The Lust for Power! Nonsense. What is the single most important thing that gives everybody everything they want?

Why are Comey, Clapper, Brennan, et al, appearing on television with the most outrageous statements confirming their complicity in the attempts to dislodge the presidency? Because they know they will be exonerated by new Congress members elected because they chose to rely on the Voters’ Fraud Machines.

Entire trains of flat-bed cars are being videoed by tourists and local farmers as the brand new tanks and military vehicles wend their serpentine ways across the country. These have been seen for years. Where are the land confrontations that use brand new medium tanks? How close are these conflicts? Whose tanks are they? They began rolling on train flatcars when Obama was president. Why? FEMA camps have sprung up almost in every state in the country. Why? UN Troops and thousands of UN trucks stored in huge parking lots.

What is the Holy Grail? Look how easy it is to convert a billion or a trillion dollars into cash! Only money provides whatever you wish to have and gives it to you instantly.

One trillion dollars is 1,000 billions. Imagine how many people will join your crusade (or rebellion) for a billion dollars. It was reported that more than 7 trillion dollars is missing from the Pentagon.

These are the words of political pundit and former Clinton advisor Dick Morris. He adds, in a video that is worth watching:

• Bruce Ohr was the #4 person at the DOJ.

• There was a massive conspiracy involving the FBI, DOJ and the entire U.S. intelligence community to perpetrate a hoax that Russia had meddled in our 2016 elections—in collusion with Donald Trump—in an effort to elect Trump as President.

• There was a vigorous effort by the U.S. government to get the dossier—which was prepared and allegedly gave the details of this collusion—out in public before the election.

• James Comey was the front person of the entire conspiracy. Ohr and his wife worked together; she worked for Fusion GPS, and is fluent in Russian.

• Did Barack Obama know all about it?

For those who may have forgotten, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were notorious Depression-era robbers who were ambushed and killed; and the Rosenbergs were U.S. citizens who spied for the Soviet Union and were tried, convicted, and executed.

An editorial of the New York Sun states:

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo certainly hit the John Kerry question out of the park. This occurred at a State Department briefing Friday, when a reporter asked about President Trump’s use of the word “illegal” to describe Mr. Kerry’s meetings with his Iranian counterpart. Mr. Pompeo said he would leave the legal determination to others, and then . . . whammo.

“What Secretary Kerry has done,” he said, “is unseemly and unprecedented.” He called it a “a former secretary of state engaged with the world’s largest state sponsor of terror.” He noted that the reports of the unprecedented meetings had come from Mr. Kerry himself. “He was telling them to wait out this administration,” Mr. Pompeo said. “You can’t find precedent for this in U.S. history.”

“Secretary Kerry ought not to engage in that kind of behavior,” he said. It is, he pointed out, “inconsistent” with “what foreign policy of the United States is as directed by this president,” a reference to Mr. Trump. “And it is beyond inappropriate for him to be engaged in this.” Plus, too, he pointed out that Iran had just fired Katusha rockets at our embassy in Baghdad and our consulate at Basra.

“Actively undermining U.S. policy as a former secretary of state is,” Mr. Pompeo noted, “literally unheard of.”

We mark the point because it is important that the kind of thing Mr. Kerry has been doing not be normalized. The former secretary has certainly been trying to normalize it as he makes the rounds promoting his new memoir, “Every Day is Extra.” The other night on Bill Maher’s show “Real Time,” Mr. Kerry tried to liken his meetings with our Iranian foes to Henry Kissinger’s travels.

“Henry Kissinger for 40 years has been traveling to Russia, traveling to China, talking to their leaders,” Mr. Kerry told the comic. “There’s absolutely nothing to unusual about it.” What a slimey attempt at self-justification. There have been no reports of Mr. Kissinger actively trying to undermine the foreign policy of any of his successors. Not even, in our experience, when he’s met with journalists.

So hat’s off to Mr. Pompeo for backing up President Trump in marking what Mr. Kerry is doing for what it is. The way to deal with foreign policy differences in our American system is not to treat with our enemies. It is to take our differences to the hustings and reason them out with the American people. That’s precisely what Mr. Trump did in respect of Iran in the 2016 election, which is the rock on which our foreign policy rests.

In Trump’s Enemies: How the Deep State Is Undermining the Presidency, authors Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s campaign manager, and Dave Bossie, deputy campaign manager and part of the transition team, detail the ‘profound arrogance of power-hungry reptiles who think that they’re more important than the votes of more than 60 million people.’

And ‘to stop Trump from winning the election over Hillary,’ they write, ‘Clinton, the FBI and DOJ—which were run by Trump-hating FBI agents—ran an operation from New York City to London to Moscow, hoping to catch members of the Trump campaign in some kind of “collusion” with the Russians.’

Few in the anti-Trump camp are spared in the authors’ condemnation of those who tried to thwart Trump’s election to the presidency and denigrate his accomplishments since – including former president Obama.

They describe how President Obama and President-elect Trump sat talking for a long time in the Oval Office, stretching what was supposed to have been a ninety-minute meeting into a freewheeling session that went well beyond three hours.

‘You might have seen pictures of that day—all smiles, backslapping, and friendly handshakes. By all accounts, President-elect Trump truly enjoyed his meeting with President Obama that afternoon. Those smiles were all genuine, at least on Trump’s part.’

On the way back to Trump Tower from LaGuardia the president-elect called Lewandowski from the secure phone in the car.

‘Corey took the call in Dave’s office. Mr. Trump was elated. It might have been the first time he ever spoke to Obama face-to-face.

‘They talked about the Yankees and the Cubs and ESPN. “He’s a regular guy!” the president-elect exclaimed. Melania, too, had enjoyed the visit, having tea with Michelle Obama in the White House residence. The two then sat for an extended time on the Truman Balcony discussing their backgrounds and their children.’

There was one thing about the meeting, however, that seemed odd to Trump.

President Obama had given him one unique piece of advice—something he hadn’t asked for and wasn’t quite sure what to do with now that he had it.

‘Not that Mr. Trump minded. He was about to enter the most challenging job in the world, and Obama had been the president for eight years. He knew from staff briefings that it was customary for the current president to pass down advice and counsel to his successor.

‘Obama offered this counsel—”North Korea is your single biggest national security threat,” and second, he said, “Don’t let anyone influence you on who to hire or not.”

‘In light of these facts, the advice Obama had given Trump took us by surprise. Obama had prefaced the advice—more of a stern suggestion, really—by telling the boss that he should go with his gut when making decisions about his staff.

‘”Don’t listen to anyone who tries to talk you out of hiring who you want,”the president had said, according to Trump. He followed up that statement, however, with an odd turn. Something much more specific.’

No more than a few minutes after providing that advice, Obama told Trump not to hire General Michael T. Flynn, one of the few people we were already seriously considering for a position in the administration.

‘Only in looking back can we see how odd the suggestion was, especially considering what Obama had known about Flynn,’ write the authors.

‘As President-elect Trump recalled his meeting with Obama that afternoon, we were tempted to think that Obama’s aversion to Flynn was little more than a small annoyance—something he never should have said aloud but that had no real consequence in the end.

‘We even toyed with the notion that Obama had simply been trying to get into Trump’s head, thinking he could put our administration on its heels early out of spite.

‘Knowing what we know today, that might have been the case. But it also could have been something much more sinister.

‘We have little doubt that Obama had let his intelligence agencies spiral out of control during his eight years in office, even going so far as to either implicitly or explicitly allow them to conduct surveillance on citizens of the United States on domestic soil—and not just any citizens, but members of the Trump campaign.’

The people at the top of his government were more left-leaning than in any administration in history, and they obviously felt threatened by the incoming Trump administration, say Lewandowski and Bossie.

For Obama’s intelligence community, spy games like this were the rule rather than the exception, they claim.

Now that Flynn was slated to come in and take over as head of the National Security Council, he would have access to the most sensitive intelligence in the country.

‘It’s not unreasonable to assume that Obama knew Flynn could expose some of the misconduct in which his intelligence agencies had engaged—particularly when it came to the abuse of surveillance practices.

‘He certainly knew that Flynn could do some damage to the permanent power structures of his intelligence agencies and shake up the bureaucracy he had helped to grow.

‘Obama probably figured that if he could convince Trump in a private meeting—the details of which were never supposed to leak—not to hire Flynn in the first place, the chances of his illegal spying on American citizens ever coming to light would decrease dramatically.’

President Obama, likely at the behest of the Deep State’s leaders, such as then-CIA chief John Brennan, and the director of national intelligence (DNI), James Clapper, was going to do everything he could not to give Flynn a chance.

President-elect Trump was ready to take over the White House with a collaborative spirit, retaining as many nonpartisan staffers as he could and cutting back on the insults to liberals on twitter.

The authors say it was neither Clapper nor Brennan who changed the course of history. That person was the man who in one short meeting would set in motion a conspiracy that would seek to cause critical damage to the presidency: James Comey.

For it was Comey who delivered the damning dossier concocted by Christopher Steele to the president-elect.

‘By bringing that folder into his briefing with Trump, Comey transformed the dossier from unverified fiction to ‘a document that was presented to the president-elect in a private briefing with intelligence agencies.

‘Fake News organizations could now make it sound like an essential piece of information.

‘Comey had given the fake dossier legitimacy, and the Fake News license to print the whole thing, which BuzzFeed did a day later. He admitted he did this in his own memos, writing that CNN was waiting for a ‘news hook’ to publish.’

Unwittingly, Lewandowski had a hand in the whole episode that ultimately helped Reince Priebus get the job as Trump’s first chief of staff.

Corey assumed the meeting he set up would be relatively predictable—one between Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, the daytime news talk show hosts, and Donald in Trump Tower.

Oddly enough, Scarborough had never met Steve Bannon and wanted to come in to see him and the president-elect so he could offer his advice.

Corey couldn’t have guessed how consequential those few minutes would be.

During the meeting, Joe and Mika lobbied for Reince to become the chief of staff. They had also decided that Bannon would be much more effective if he took a role as some kind of senior advisor or senior strategist rather than the chief of staff position.

We were as surprised as anyone that Steve was even willing to listen to their advice, given his avowed hatred for anyone who makes their living by being on television between the hours of six o’clock and noon on weekday mornings.

These were the people he would usually refer to as ‘limousine liberals’ or simply ‘the establishment.’

For Steve, having the approval of those media types was about as meaningful as a participation trophy. And yet, somehow, when that meeting was over, the structure of the Trump White House changed.

Joe and Mika helped convince the president-elect that Priebus should be the chief of staff, bringing along most of his team from the Republican National Committee.

Steve Bannon would go into the building with the title ‘Chief Strategist’ with a staff of one, refusing even to hire a secretary.

From the beginning, the boss had wanted Kellyanne Conway to play a major role in the communications department.

But she had turned him down. Not unreasonably, Kellyanne believed that she would be able to serve the president better as counselor—a role that would allow her to have more input on policy and the general direction of the administration. On that point, she was correct.

In the end, the boss understood her misgivings about taking on the role,

After Kellyanne, the president’s favorites were Kimberly Guilfoyle, Laura Ingraham, or Monica Crowley, any of whom would have been quite a capable choice.

You won’t hear the media report that, of course, because it would disrupt their image of Trump as someone who doesn’t respect strong women.

Somehow all of these recommendations got lost in the shuffle. Reince entertained them, but it was clear he never really took them seriously. He wanted his people in key positions and his pick was Sean Spicer.

The Clintons would not have gotten away with what they have unless Obama had “looked the other way”—and ultimately became complicit in their treason and other criminality.

On some level, it is likely that he wishes that he had never met them, much less allowed them to engage in their multi-faceted crimes during his presidency. In a very real sense, he became an active co-conspirator.

None of this is surprising in the least, inasmuch as he became a strident, un-American black racist at a very young age.

For months, President Donald Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen tried – but failed – to position himself as a whistleblower in the vein of Watergate hero John Dean.

As the time ticked down toward his deadline to report to prison, Cohen also lost the interest of the one group of people who could help him out: the federal prosecutors he desperately hoped would ask a judge to shorten his sentence.

Since mid-March, prosecutors in New York have rebuffed Cohen’s repeated offers to provide more information about alleged wrongdoing by Trump and other people in his orbit, Cohen’s attorney Lanny Davis told The Associated Press on Friday.

“Why not see him?” Davis asked. “What’s the downside? He’s about to go to prison.”

Cohen’s legal team reached out to prosecutors in March asking for an opportunity to meet for a “frank discussion” about reducing his sentence, based on his cooperation. That meeting never happened.

That snub might be the best evidence yet that Cohen’s months-long campaign to sell himself as a potential witness hasn’t paid off.

Cohen is scheduled to report Monday to a federal prison 70 miles north of New York City to begin serving a three-year sentence for campaign-finance violations, tax evasion, bank fraud and lying to Congress.

In an apparent bid to maintain a semblance of normalcy before starting his sentence, Cohen left his Manhattan apartment building on Saturday with his son to go to a coffee shop and then to a barbershop, Eddie Arthur Salon. They both got haircuts. Cohen’s next stop was the pricy retailer Barneys New York, where he told journalists that he plans to hold a news conference Monday before heading to prison.

Cohen remains the only person charged in a scandal involving hush money payments to the porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal, who were threatening during the presidential campaign to speak up about alleged affairs with Trump.

Cohen started to cast himself publicly as a whistleblower less than three months after the FBI raided his home and apartment.

He gave a series of tantalizing teases that there was “more to come,” starting with an interview last July in which he told ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos he was no longer loyal to Trump. More dribbled out over the next few weeks. Davis released a tape of Cohen and Trump discussing one of the hush-money payments.

That effort, though, has largely been met with an uncompromising approach by federal prosecutors.

New York investigators built their case for months without speaking with Cohen, then finally agreed to meet with him on a Saturday last August, just a few days before he would plead guilty.

At the meeting, they delivered an ultimatum: plead guilty or be indicted within days. Cohen also believed after the meeting that his wife could be charged with financial crimes if he didn’t cooperate.

“I love this woman, and I am not going to let her get dragged into the mud of this crap,” Cohen later told an acquaintance, the actor Tom Arnold, in a conversation that Arnold recorded and provided to The Wall Street Journal.

Cohen’s wife, Laura, filed taxes with her husband and made investments with Cohen in taxi medallions. She ultimately was not charged.

After pleading guilty in August, Cohen did meet with Manhattan-based prosecutors multiple times to discuss several issues. Those included Trump’s personal business dealings, the president’s personal involvement in attempts to pay off McDougal and Daniels, and his inaugural committee, which is now the subject of a criminal investigation centering on possible donations by foreign nationals and influence peddling.

Cohen also met with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators several times, culminating with a session just days before the former FBI director turned his report over to the Justice Department.

Still, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan, in court filings before his sentencing, criticized what it described as Cohen’s unwillingness to cooperate fully and be debriefed “on other uncharged criminal conduct, if any, in his past.”

They didn’t ask the judge for a lenient sentence and have given no sign that they intend to file a so-called Rule 35 motion- a legal filing that could reduce Cohen’s punishment if his cooperation is deemed to be of substantial assistance. Cohen’s attorneys say they believe Cohen’s information supports several potential prosecutions.

A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office declined to comment.

In February, Cohen testified before several Congressional panels about what he said was dishonesty by Trump in his business affairs. He also testified that a Trump Organization executive, Allen Weisselberg, and Trump’s son Donald Jr. were involved in reimbursing him for one of the hush money payments.

During that testimony, Cohen said a number of Trump-related topics were still being probed by New York prosecutors.

“I am currently working with them right now on several other issues of investigation that concerns them, that they’re looking at,” Cohen said.

Yet, within weeks, prosecutors were through speaking with him.

Davis, in the interview Friday, said he believes Cohen has been treated unfairly.

“The Southern District of New York was disproportionate in the sentence it asked for and appears to have targeted just Michael Cohen for reasons that I can’t understand,” Davis said.

Regrettably, there may be lots of truth and wisdom in what you have said. The “culture” at the Department of “Justice” has been corrupt for decades; and they “circle the wagons” to protect their own.

With few exceptions, those surrounding our President are devoid of courage; and the same is true of the Republican “Neanderthals” in the Senate and House.

And the Democrats are hopeless, which is why lots of us left the party and will never come back.

If none of the key players in the treasonous, un-American conspiracy to destroy the candidacy and then the presidency of Donald Trump are indicted and go to prison, no American should ever believe in our “system of justice” again.

Far-Left CREW Attacks Kellyanne Conway [UPDATED]

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics In Washington, or “CREW,” is a totally-Leftist group that has no credibility at all. Like Planned Parenthood, its participants should be prosecuted and sent to prison; and CREW should be put out of business and consigned to oblivion.

In an article by Mary Papenfuss of the Huffington Post, Yahoo! News has reported:

The watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington has filed a complaint alleging that White House counselor Kellyanne Conway is illegally campaigning while she’s supposed to be working as a government official — again.

Conway touted President Donald Trump while attacking Democratic presidential candidates Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) in her official capacity on the grounds of the White House, the group complained to the U.S. Office of Special Counsel in a letter dated Wednesday.

Conway’s activities violate the Hatch Act, which forbids any federal official from using their position for partisan campaigning, the watchdog group said. The Office of Special Counsel (a government agency that enforces the Hatch Act and has no connection to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation) warned Conway about previous Hatch Act violations last year.

Conway “violated the Hatch Act in two television interviews” in 2017 with comments about candidates in Alabama’s special election in her “official capacity,” the Office of Special Counsel said in March 2018. The findings were forwarded to President Donald Trump to take “appropriate disciplinary action.” The White House wrist-slapped Conway with a warning.

Earlier in 2017, Conway violated federal ethics rules when she urged Fox News viewers to buy Ivanka Trump’s products. For that lawbreaking, she was “counseled” by the White House.

The latest complaints involve four recent television interviews in which Conway attacked Democratic presidential candidates. CNN host Michael Smerconish, who interviewed her in one of the cases, later said on his SiriusXM radio program that he thought at the time that Conway was violating the Hatch Act.

“I had been told that you really can’t address particular Democratic candidates with Kellyanne Conway [in the interview} because there will be a Hatch Act issue,” Smerconish recalled. “She’s on the payroll of the White House; she can’t be partisan in her comments. So I was a little taken aback when … she pivots and wants to talk about Biden and talk about how gloomy and creepy and dark she found his message to be.”

MSNBC’s “The Last Word” host Lawrence O’Donnell last week showed a video of Conway in one of the interviews, and warned: “She’s going to need a lawyer” because she was “illegally campaigning against Joe Biden for Donald Trump while holding her position on the federal payroll.”

The complaint said Conway’s recent lawbreaking is “even more egregious,” given her previous Hatch Act violations.

“In short, Ms. Conway is a repeat offender and it seems clear that neither prior guidance by the White House Counsel’s office nor prior admonition by OSC have deterred her from breaking the law,” the complaint said.

The new Hatch Act violations are in “no way exhaustive” of Conway’s lawbreaking, the ethics group said.

Richard Painter, a former senior ethics lawyer in the George W. Bush administration, said Thursday that Conway likely again violated the Hatch Act by posting a photo of herself on her Twitter page in front of the White House holding a crossed-out “collusion” sign.

Painter, on Twitter, characterized Conway as a “walking, talking, Tweeting Hatch Act violation.”

The Hatch Act prohibits “executive branch employees” from using their “official authority or influence for the purpose of interfering with or affecting the result of an election.” Violations can result in removal from office, disbarment from federal service, suspension, a letter of reprimand or a fine of up to $1,000.

Looking back on your article ”Should Barack Obama Be Executed For Treason?” (May 24, 2018), turn full circle today and it seems the current 4 horsemen, AOC, Omar, Presley and the other crazy socialist from Michigan, seem to be executing Obama’s continued assault on America. They seek nothing but hate, pitting the races against each other. I think Obama has DIRECT involvement in getting these 4 elected.

As a matter of suspicion on my part, I question the legitimacy of their elections, which I think were rigged. As for this week’s Mueller testimony before Congress—if you can call it that—it completely exposed the entire Democratic Party. It is speculated that in this Greek Tragedy—with the collusion, obstruction charges burnt to the ground—Obama was directly involved and in fact ordered and directed it. As a matter of fact, from what is being reported, this FISA abuse has been going since 2012 or before. Tell me something, how does a 1-term senator who voted present, know much about the complexity of this scam? Why did Obama rent a house right next to Washington DC near the “ White House”?

Because everyone thought Hillary was in the bag and Obama would continue to destroy our country, Hell he still is very involved with the destruction. The essence of Trump’s crime, it is said, was that he demanded a quid pro quo. He passed word to incoming President Volodymyr Zelensky that if he did not hold a press conference to announce an investigation of Joe Biden and son Hunter, he, Zelensky, would not get the arms we had promised, nor the Oval Office meeting that Zelensky requested.

Again, where is the body of the crime?

Did Zelensky hold the press conference Trump demanded? No.

Did Zelensky announce Ukraine was investigating the Bidens? No.

Did Zelensky get the Oval Office meeting? Yes.

Did Zelensky get the U.S. weapons? Yes, $400 million in arms and Javelin missiles.

Where then is the crime? When was it consummated?

Or was this a thought crime, a bluff to get Zelensky to look into how Hunter Biden got a $50,000-a-month seat on the board of the most corrupt company in Ukraine, days after Joe Biden was in Kyiv threatening to block a $1 billion loan guarantee to the regime.

By the way, what was Biden doing approving a $1 billion loan guarantee to Petro Poroshenko’s regime, which was so corrupt that it ferociously fought not to fire a prosecutor whose dismissal all of Europe was demanding?

Should Biden be nominated and elected, a special prosecutor would have to be appointed to investigate this smelly deal, as well as the $1 billion Hunter got for his equity fund from the Chinese after his father visited the Middle Kingdom.

Given last week’s party-line vote in the House, where all but two Democrats voted to proceed with the inquiry, the impeachment of President Donald Trump seems baked in the cake. Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s designation of Adam Schiff to head the investigation tells us all we need to know about the sincerity of her pledge to make the inquiry bipartisan.

Suppose Zelensky had agreed to an investigation into how Hunter Biden, with no experience in the energy industry, got his sweetheart deal.

Would that be impeachable for Trump? How so?

Does not the U.S. have a right to put conditions on its foreign aid and to seek guarantees that our money will not be used as graft to grifters?

A few of those listening in on Trump’s phone call with Zelensky have gone public asserting that withholding the arms transfer to Kyiv imperiled our national security.

But if east Ukraine rises up and secedes from Kyiv, as Kyiv itself seceded from the Russian Federation at the end of the Cold War, how does any of that endanger America’s national security? Did not George H.W. Bush himself warn, three decades ago, that a declaration of independence by Ukraine from the Russian Federation would constitute an act of “suicidal nationalism”?

And who does the Constitution charge with making the decisions as to whether military aid goes to Ukraine?

The president, or some NSC staffer who sits on the Ukraine desk?

Since the U.S.-backed overthrow of the pro-Russian regime in Kyiv in 2014, and Vladimir Putin’s counter-seizure of Crimea and support for pro-Russian secessionists in Donetsk and Luhansk, there has been a debate in the USA over how to deal with this faraway problem.

Obama decided not to send lethal aid or tank-killing Javelin missiles, lest the U.S. arms escalate a war between Russia and Ukraine that Kyiv could not win.

The Republicans argued the issue at their Cleveland convention. Trump’s team won that argument, but lethal aid and Javelin missiles were eventually sent to Kyiv. Now Trump has sent even more weapons.

But again, the authority to make this decision resides in the Oval Office, not in the NSC, not in the CIA, and not with those in the “deep state” who have their own settled view of what U.S. foreign policy should be.

The authority lies with the elected president of the United States.

This impeachment battle will almost surely reach the Senate.

And in the end it will be about what it has been about since the beginning: An attempt by the deep state and its media, bureaucratic and political allies to overturn the democratic verdict of 2016 and to overthrow the elected president of the United States.

The establishment’s coup attempt is now approaching end game.
