When I left the United States Senate, I concluded that the Democrats were “evil” but smart, while the Republicans were “Neanderthals” and dumb.[2] I have never changed that opinion. Quite to the contrary, I believe it today more fervently than ever; and I am not alone.[3]. And yes too, I began as a Democrat but doubt that I will vote for one ever again.
Where does one begin to chronicle the Left’s certifiable madness and hatred of the America that so many of us love? Perhaps with their devout support of Infanticide.[4] Or with the enabling of young Americans to switch genders; or with “gender fluidity”—the ability to switch back and forth, with the help of drugs. Or perhaps with easy access to other life-changing drugs that can kill, such as Fentanyl, which are sometimes disguised as other drugs when they enter our country.[5]
Or with opening our borders so that all types of criminals—including human traffickers, members of the drug cartels, and outright killers—can come here; or by never incarcerating them, even if they commit all types of crimes. Or by releasing those who do.
It’s as if the Gates of Hell have been opened wide, and everything that is evil and Godless has been released on America. Perhaps it began when China sent its deadly Coronavirus to us, which has hurt so many: physically, psychologically and economically. It is mutating now; and other strains or variants are emerging, and will show up as monkeypox and by other names.
Tragically, America’s domestic enemies begin with Joe Biden, Barack Obama and the Clintons. Each is pure evil, personified.[6] Our enemies abroad know that, and seem to be seizing every opportunity that presents itself. From Vladimir Putin’s butchery in Ukraine, to Xi Jinping’s efforts to destroy the U.S. economy and weaken the American people, our enemies are not resting until we are prostrate.
They are trying to do to America what Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush did to the former Soviet Union: destroy us.[7] In a sense, they make no bones about it, at least since Biden became President. The gloves are off—the game is on. The stakes are the future of the world. They couldn’t be higher. Wake up Americans. Your future and that of your children and their children are at stake. Our enemies are playing for keeps. If we were in their shoes, with Biden in the White House, we would be too.[8]
Lastly, Biden is not our President and never will be. He is a caricature of what a real man is supposed to be, who has been foisted on us by the evil Democrats and Left. He is a imposter who is occupying our White House and making a mockery of it. On the global stage, he is a pathetic buffoon at a pivotal moment in history. And Kamala Harris may be even worse, if that’s humanly possible.[9]

THE WORST PRESIDENTS TO DATE
We have had bad presidents before. Bill O’Reilly, a political historian by trade mentions past Presidents such as James Buchanan ( just prior to the Civil War who did nothing to address the growing conflicts between North and South), and President Herbert Hoover ( Again, who did nothing as banks closed, money disappeared in a flash crash on Wall Street, and millions of farmers & factory workers became unemployed and lost everything). Now, we can add President Joe Biden to the List of the Worst Presidents in U.S. History. Quite an achievement. We may pay for it for years to come, I fear.
Now, what will the world be like by 2025 when a new President is sworn-in? Will we even see another free and fair election that is not contested with allegations of cheating and voter fraud? California’s own Narcissist, Gov. Gavin Newsom, is considering a run for the presidency, if he can amass a sufficient “War Chest” to even be in the game at all. Hopefully not.
It would get worse if he were elected. California can have Gavin. Right now, we need many more informed voters to see through the fog of (political) propaganda and misinformation found all over the media and internet. Someone needs to rein-in corporations and others who are able to act like a cartel or cabal to further the political agenda of the Left and suppress Free Speech at-large. Our economy is not nearly as strong (healthy) as we are told.

I agree that Americans will be paying for the Biden presidency — and possibly the Harris presidency, if he does not finish his term — for many years (if not decades) ahead.
Whether we will have free and fair elections in the months and years to come is also an open question, as you suggest. And yes, I believe American voters are waking up.
Lastly, I agree with your assessment of the economy.

AMERICANS MUST BE WILLING TO MAKE “ADJUSTMENTS”
Creditable population forecasts for the U.S. suggest a prolonged downtrend for the next 20 years due to demographics. The forecasts are in the range of double digit net population losses over that time period. Population loss is cumulative from different causes such as reduced birth rates, reduced family formations, higher mortality rates ( Currently, people inexplicably dying younger in the 18-65 year old category), the aging-out of the Baby Boomer cohort and the possibility of additional pandemics and even War, along with local food shortages/famine.
We are in a long term, extended period of rolling crises (chaos) and subsequent hardships which today’s suburbanites are largely unacquainted with. We have entered into an unstable period in the post-modern age of unknown duration and consequence. I expect it to take the better part of the next 20 years to settle-out and stabilize but not necessarily at a prior level.
The possibility of a permanently reduced standard of living for most Americans seems like a reasonable assumption due to way too much unpayable debt and financial leverage already in the system. As we should all see, attempts by the FED to wean us off of cheap or easy money is causing withdrawal pains even now. We have barely begun liftoff from zero-bound interest rates.
I see little chance this ends well or ends soon either. The era of central banks is drawing to a close, however gradually (The Great Reset). We must prepare ourselves for this contingency. Don’t expect the U.S. Government or its politicians to do it for you because they are too busy “taking care of business” or themselves.

Yes, Craig, I agree that there may not be a “soft landing.” The Fed has let this get out of control.
How bad it gets may be determined — at least in part — by what Putin and Xi Jinping do, or are able to do.

MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE
Consider it Karma or plain old-fashioned JUST Deserts. We have aborted, sic, murdered the young and unborn by the millions since Roe v. Wade allowed this medical practice. So, its fitting that Covid-19 and its many mutations, sic. variants, have largely targeted the old (> 65). That would mostly be baby-boomers who did most of the aborting since 1970. So, do ya think there might be something else possibly going-on here?

What you are suggesting is that somehow all Americans whose babies were aborted, and later contracted Covid-19 or its variants — or will in the future — somehow deserved it, or were perhaps even “targeted.”
